"Owned this truck from new. Very few problems. Bit of a dog on pickup but otherwise runs and drives good. Got about 18-19 MPG on hwy and 16 or so around town. Still wish they made this size truck."

"I bought new in mid 95 - no dealer bargaining at that time - got tired of MD/VA Toy. dealer lies, so paid near MSRP to the PA dealer/salewoman that played it straight. Something like 18K out the door - too much, but looking back, it's paid for itself many times. I never drove it that much, cause work was 3 miles away. In 13 years and about 120K miles, I replaced the starter only, outside of usual tires, fluids, etc. - and also exhaust from catalytic back - I think that's it. I changed the spark plugs at 110K, not for any particular reason, it was running fine - I just figured I was doing the timing belt, so I ought to do the plugs too. Mileage has always been about 17-20 highway, depending on what I'm carrying or pulling. Even with the small 6 cyl., I've pulled many trailer loads with 1 1/2 to 2 tons of firewood, etc. over our local low mountain ranges - I wouldn't recommend doing it everyday, but the T100 can get it done when you need it, within its design limits. I only kind of regret not getting a 4wd, but I wouldn't have used 4x4 much in the mid-atlantic, and I would have paid a lot more in gas by now. I do want a more powerful truck for pulling a full-size camper, but I've been spoiled by my rust-free '95. which has never broken down or had to be towed in 13 years. I think I'll keep it, with the coming depression and all."
