Narrow year range (drag arrows to filter):
Changes for 2010 include driver's and front passenger active head restraints on all models, three-zone manual climate controls for the Grand Caravan SE and a new 3.16 final drive ratio for vans equipped with the 4.0-liter engine.
The SE trim receives more standard equipment including Stow 'n Go seating, cruise control, power second-row window and third-row vents and body color door handles. SXT trims now offer Dodge's Blind Spot Monitoring System, Rear Cross Path Warning System and rain-sensing wipers.
Beneath the surface of its boxier, more masculine styling, the fifth-generation Grand Caravan offers improved powertrains, more contemporary interior styling and class-exclusive options like satellite TV (offering three family channels) and clever second-row seating options. The shorter-wheelbase Caravan model is no longer.
If you have a big family, but your pocket book says "no" to a big SUV, the Grand Caravan might be your next-best choice. Although still referred to as a minivan by the EPA, the Grand Caravan has long since outgrown any description with the word "mini" in it. This sizable people hauler can seat up to seven passengers and features Dodge's innovative Stow 'n Go seating, which allows the second and third-row seats to be folded flush into convenient floor wells. The Grand Caravan has a long list of standard and optional equipment, but its aging design lags behind newer minivans in offering such features as roll-down sliding-door windows, and it's also behind the competition in horsepower and torque.

"I would not buy this van again. It's my 2nd Caravan and has been more trouble than the blue Book Value. I have spent more time at the Dodge dealer getting it worked on than any car I've ever owned. Pass on all the computer gadgets. They can't even fix the carpet. The computer is always offline causing the side doors to be difficult to close. The phone device is not working correctly now. The back seat starts moving back during long trips. On...and...on...I'll stop now."

"I bought the 2008 caravan 2 months ago and have about 2500 miles on it. I do like it except the fuel mileage is not as good as stated I'm getting about 12 mpg city so not to happy with that. Also the side doors do not always open and close like there suppose to but that is easily solved by just doing the old fashioned way with your hand. so after 2000 miles I am still happy with it and would recomend unless fuel mileage is a top concern."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 37,000
overall rating 4 of 5rating detailsPros: "Good value, good mileage, easy to drive, quite roomy for a minivan"
Cons: "The front brakes wear out at short intervals. I've replaced them three times in 35,000 miles."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"Except for the front brakes which have to be replaced every 10,000 miles. There nust be a defect there, but Dodge hasn't owned up to it."
