BMW X6 SUVs

The BMW X6 receives a few minor changes for 2014, chiefly the addition of a universal garage door opener and a rearview mirror with a compass as standard equipment on the xDrive5.0i. The X6 M receives standard carpeted floor mats.

The 2013 BMW X6 receives a number of minor improvements including modest front and rear styling updates, more use of LEDs in the taillights and headlights and some new paint colors.

For the 2011 model year the X6 received both a new in-line-6 and 8-speed automatic transmission. The only significant addition to the 2012 BMW X6 is the availability of a split-folding rear seat, enabling three passengers to sit abreast when, of course, said seat isn't folded. This increases the X6 passenger volume by 25 percent, a nod to practicality you won't find elsewhere in the X6 architecture.

For 2010, the BMW X6 receives a power rear tailgate and HD Radio. New options include Automatic High Beam headlamps and a top view perspective for the rear backup camera. The available navigation system features an 8.8-inch high resolution screen and an 80GB media server. A hybrid model and M high-performance trim join the line.

For 2009, the BMW X6 carries over largely unchanged. However, it does see some adjustments to its equipment packages, with the automatic tailgate added to the Premium Package and heated rear seats now included in the Cold Weather Package.
