Level 0 Autonomous vehicles, as defined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), offer no assistance to the driver. Level 0 Autonomous vehicles require “the full-time performance by the human driver of all aspects of the dynamic driving task, even when enhanced by warning or intervention systems.” Almost all vehicles made over the last 120 years have been Level 0 Autonomous.
