"Great Car"

this is the best convertible I have owned. Some minor issues but overall excellent vehicle for the price. Rear glass in top separated at an early age even though car was garage kept. Both front door regulators failed after about 11 years. Otherwise very reliable. Blue color and sleek design make this a head turner.

"Expensive frequent repairs"

Electrical gremlins, pinched wires, security key sensor replaced 3 times, electrical distribution system, convertible top sticks on stowage, transmission coast shock, body cowl shake, fails to start about 4 times per year. Prepare to spend 2-5k per year post warranty.

Nice 4 seater convertible

Good looking car. Invisible to law enforcement.

Needs another 100 hp to be awesome

Fun convertible, solid, good handling. Not super high performance, but acceptable acceleration with single occupant. The cars a cruiser, not a dragster. Good high speed road feel on OEM selected tires. (100+ mph, yes, it will go that fast, 238kph advertised, 235kph personally achieved when new ) Excellent braking. Relatively quiet for a soft top convertible, even at speed. OEM Pirelli tires wear out quickly but make a difference compared to other W rated tires. Not good in deep snow, the road clearance is not sufficient. It's a Volvo so it feels safe. Excellent styling.

Pros

Heavy safe, stylish

The ragtop keeps getting jammed & needing maintenance which is expensive. The computer system has created extra issues when the car is not running. So a new battery doesn't necessarily fix up multiple failures like the radio, cruise control & lighting. I have a tough time finding mechanics willing to work on it

Very good in Gasoline

Amazing vehicle solid and nice reliable car. Very safe power seats good sound audio good gasoline. Very safe vehicle turbo

Gorgeous, well made and reliable

Cons

Turning radius could be wider.

Good elegant car, T5 strong. The last real Volvo

T5 very strong, but weak chassis. Some minor quality problem. Head turning car.
