Positive Review
I love this car gets 40 mpg in town and up to 60 on hwy. It has not let me down at all. The original engine went 240,000 miles and was still running before the po put a new one in it. Great car!
Critical Review
It was made in 1991 and 92. About 800 were made. I don't know how many are left but if taken care of they last. It is slow, gets about 35-40 mpg. Change the timing belt and they keep running like a John Deer tractor. It goes about the same speed but will last forever in my book. KBB says it is worth a grand but you try and find a 20 yr old car for 1K that gets over 35mpg in good shape for a grand. Not many left in good shape after 20 years. Make great grease cars too. One last thing, no computer. An EMP blast can go off and it will start. Mines in good shape and worth at least 2K in my book.

I absolutely love this car. i'm a big dubber head so i like my dubs to begin with. but on this car, i just broke 300,000 miles. and yes that's the original motor. yes its got its normal wear and tear, but still, the car is running like a champ and still fun to drive.

OBD Fuel Injection
I have owned my car for 6 years now and it has over 190,000 miles on it. They are very reliable cars and easy to work on. Parts are cheap, but not that easy to find unless you have internet access or Volkswagen buddies. My Jetta gets 40-45 miles to the gallon, its has the Recarro interior and is very comfortable. It has the driver information center in the dash the tells the driver; oil temp, average speed, fuel economy, outside temp, air fuel ratio, instant fuel economy, and a couple things i cannot remember all on a 91. Volkswagen was way ahead of its time. It also has heated mirrors, sunroof, and rear defrost. I have owned many volkswagens and none have disappointed I would recomend to any person looking for a new or used car. The top ten best fuel economy cars of the last 10 years have 5 out 10 volkswagens. Nothing beats them
slow, and low
not worth much$

Good mpg, Sun roof, no serious issues
As a student just entering college i decided to find a good little car that would be able to get me from point A to B soon after buying this car i found that this car is much more than that. It has not failed even once since I've got it. Some problems are that the space might be too small for some people but other than that i can find no flaw.
