Pros

Cheap for a future classic, and fun to drive

Cons

Sorry, no cup holders, top is manually operated

Deep burgundy red with new matching convertible top, matching seats and matching interior. Some kind of a "designer model" with every option imaginable, including auto trans, cruise control, multiple instrument gauges, and even A/C !! Mom lived in Palm Springs, CA. where the head gasket blew up at 50,000 miles and replaced the head, valves, radiator, belts, etc. I inherited at 71,000 miles and replaced all the hoses, belts, etc. Still runs perfect. Driving this car is like riding inside an open Guchi Bag. People stare at it, I think because no one is really sure what it is...others say it reminds them of the Disco Era. Overall: very fun to drive, good on gas, easy to park and a little scary over 75mph, and maybe in 50 years a classic.

A strong fun car

I bought a 1990 cabriolet from the second owner. I have had the car for two years and have only put $69.00 in it for a new top I bought from Ebay and put on myself. The engine runs as smooth as silk and always starts. Good gas mileage, good "German feel" and people seem to love the car. Great on gas mileage too. The rollbar looks good and is a good safety feature. This is the first four person convertible I have owned. Too bad cars now aren't as good or as fun to drive.

Really good city car!

I just got mine a couple of weeks ago, and let me tell you: this little 5 speed feels like a million bucks! It is definitely a RUNNER but it serves its purpose and more! Really good driver! handles really good and its comfortable, I see miatas or any other small convertible and they have less space than this ones! Great car, will definitely keep it forever! Seattle weather might be a little annoying but i have a great heather! Buy one if you can!
