Best Truck Ever! So far it rides like a champ with zero problems! This is my first time owning a Tacoma and I'm impressed all around!

Having driven Volkswagens for years, and after dealing with their nonsense over the past 2 years with having an engine & turbo replaced on a 2 year old vehicle, I decided to switch to Toyota. My Taco is probably one of my most favorite vehicles I have had to date. I’ve only had it a little over a month, but so far it has been amazing! A smooth rice, ice cold A/C (in Florida) & lots of power thanks to the i-Force Max. The styling is great & the heritage blue color gets lots of looks & compliments. Such a great vehicle & a nice truck!

I have owned my Tacoma now for a year and a half and have zero issues with it. I bought the Trailhunter trim, I have driven it from Colorado to Georgia, and I have read some professional reviews citing its off roads mannerisms showing on the highway driving and I have to say I also own a Volvo and my Tacoma’s ride on the highway is smoother and quieter. I never owned a truck before but the design of the new Tacoma draw my attention, it is a beautiful truck, with a solid dependable reputation and the best resale value of any vehicle what else can you ask for, is money well spent, it is an investment.

I’ve had nothing but problems since the day I bought the truck. This is my third Tacoma and my fifth Toyota and I will probably never buy a Toyota again because of this. Squeaky seats, random error messages and check engine lights or the screen just goes black. Then random rattles in the doors and back seats. Paint is really really thin, door handle issues. Tail gate rattles the whole bed and last but not least a reason Chirp sound from the ac unit. I have other cosmetic issues and not even 9000 miles yet. Toyota can’t or won’t fix any of these issues. I’ve tried to have them buy back the truck, but they denied it.

The pickup has too many driver assist features, some difficult to handle, steering assist to mention. They can be disabled, however. The front grill, hood are nice and refined like its larger counter part, Tundra imo. The truck bed is limited as expected with the Tacoma. The fleet side rear frame is over styled by far and draws shadows and overly impressive. A nice brush guard would serve well. Overall good economical pickup that could use more simplicity.

I just had my 2025 Tacoma in for its 5K maintenance and I gave the dealership my laundry list of things that bothered me most about it. First off, I think the looks of the truck are awesome… “A” rating. But the mechanical design a performance have a lot to be desired. The main concerns are the very rough shifting (especially the first gear) when cold or going uphill, the excessive noise of the 4 cylinder, the rough rocking of the truck when the A/C compressor activates, and the very poor gas mileage (13.5 to 15 mpg in the city, and. 22 on the highway). There are several smaller complaints/annoyances too, but I really want to love this truck. Compared to my previous 2013 Tacoma Off-Road V6, this version is sub-par. The dealership simply replied that they couldn’t duplicate the problems and believe most are attributed to poor driving habits… greatly insulting and false. Many 4th Gen Tacoma reviews duplicate my concerns and issues. So, beware that these are real issues/ annoyances. Toyota has some serious changes to make.

Great truck. Downsized from a Tundra. 19 MPG with heavy foot, sufficient power. Premium Pkg is worth it. Cons: small 18 gal gas tank, back seat space and turning radius with long bed sucks. Overall nice truck, time will tell future reliability

I have been getting above advertised mileage whenever I'm on the highway, anywhere from 25-23 mpg on the highway. It has significantly more power than any other truck in this segment. It has a very comfortable ride as well
