Positive Review
My Camry LE with the XP package has everything I need and value in a car. It is fast , smooth, quiet, comfortable, reliable , fuel efficient, roomy, and good looking . It is “loaded “ with options considering it’s only the base model Camry. It has been a great car and I enjoy driving it every chance I get!
Critical Review
The engine started some kind of stalling then shut off left me stranded. We had to push this car to the side of the road and yes, it was embarrassing. Under warranty, no car for two days needed a new fuel pump. I'm not satisfied owning this vehicle right now. I, have no time to keep dealing with recalls, service dept repairs. I, will trade it in for something different.

Great mileage, reliable, great in snow
Pricey
I drive this car daily for work. I live in MI. The AWD when combined with snow tires is great on snow and icey roads. The interior is very comfortable. Love the heated steering wheel and seats. The ventilated seats are nice in the summer. My car is loaded with options. The hybrid gets 40 mpg. I absolutely love this car and people compliment me on the appearance all the time. I'm not sure why other people gave it poor reviews. I put 40,000 miles on my car in about 1 1/2 years. Change the oil every 5000 miles. It handles and rides great.
Get all the safety and standard features you would expect.
Firstly, this car is amazing. You should never get under 45 mpg to the gallon, and it handles great in the SE trim. Most of the reviews mention resale value and losing money after they drive away. Folks, this is car buying, no matter the brand. If you want a car that appreciates, go buy a Ferrari. However, with that being said, it's one of the few brands that offers service free at any dealer for the first 25k miles. Please remember that the reviews should be about the car and not nonsense that is normal when buying a new or used car.
Styling is ok
Engine Electrical, Resale value drop fast

mpg, stylish, roomy 4Dr car, reliability so far
too much tracking and tech, hybrid learning curve for some
New to Hybrid driving and it has grown on me. It's basically the gas engine Camry with a battery drive added. So, hard highway driving gets me 38-40mpg, in town and commuter driving, I get 44-50 mpg. Smaller gas tank so range of 400-500 miles is no improvement. 13 gallon tank but low light goes on with 3 gallons left and when the guage goes to zero, (with about 2 gallons still left) you are guessing. So, I'm only buying 10 gallons of gas at a time. Comfortable and agile, brakes and acceleration good. Interior comfortable. Base sound system is avg. I hate wireless carplay so still plug in and works great. Safety features are excessive! Blindspot standard (should be on every car), of course the front accident warning is required. I do use the lane change warning as well. The self-driving (lane centering) and the LDA driver assist stuff is not for me at all. The sign reading thing and auto-high beams also stupid. All the "connected" app stuff is also too much. I turned off most of it. I found out AFTER purchasing, that if you don't "opt out" up front, Toyota tracks the car and collects data for 10 years. The App to control the car only works free for one year! Shame on you Toyota for tracking and collecting my data and also charging more money to "subscribe" for the remote car features! If that's "how it is now" than how it is is awful for consumers. Also, the 0w8 oil is available at Walmart and other auto stores now. don't get upcharged for oil changes. Toyota dealers do it themselves (after the 25K) and shameful when the Mobil1 oil is down the street at walmart. Overall a great fuel-efficient highway family cruiser or commuter car with a bit too much tech and 'connected' features. Even the base LE requires hours to learn about all the features. Would not buy grandma a brand new car these days! She would crash it reading all the small letters on the dash.
Quick acceleration even in ECO mode. Love the JBL speakers. Vehicle has large trunk space for a hybrid. Very quiet inside while
Gas milage so far is 44 mph. I was hoping for 48.
2025 Camry XSE with Premium Package replaces my Lexus 300h vehicle. This car is fun to drive in the city and highway. I have had no issues after 5000 miles. Even in the ECO mode this vehicle is very responsive and has the feel of a sports car. Overall milage currently shows 44 mph. The seats are firm and comfortable. The ventilated seats feel great too being I live in a hot weather climate. The only thing that I miss about my Lexus is the Lexus service department where they always provided a free loaner and free snacks and beverages. Saving a lot of money and getting almost the same quality vehicle is worth the time spent getting my new vehicle serviced.
Beautiful, sporty, a lot of details and perfect in gas. Driving on the highway feels like a sexy dress; Best car ever!
Fuel mileage hybrid
Value of this vehicle is not worth the MSRP
It's a full size car, pretty long looking. Back seat is to big vs the front seats. The engine is sluggish, kinda loud inside the cabin. Fuel mileage is good, but service is expensive for being a hybrid. I, did notice the value has decreased quickly. The stereo is a bit slow responding. Radiator had a small leak causing my windows to keep fogging up repaired under warranty. Suspension is stiff, vehicle is to low to the ground bouncing around from street pot holes. Well soon I'm trading in the car in for something else. To many negatives vs positives regarding my vehicle experience.
I purchased a Toyota Camry XSE ins Sonic red with a black top. The premium package added a panoramic sunroof, heads up display, and an array of great features. memory seats with easy entry for the driver, heated seats and steering wheel, full leather seating and a sport suspension with 19 inch wheels. The car is not only beautiful both inside and out and the quality is amazing for this price point. I have only owned BMW, Range Rovers, and Porsches over the last 25 years. I am used to quality and performance. I didn't by the Toyota Camry XSE to be a sports car. I have my Porsche for that. I purchased the Camry for a pleasant everyday car that gets good gas mileage, secure and responsive handling. with a quiet interior and a smooth wonderful ride of a luxury car. It has and easy to use 12.3 informant screen and the car is loaded with the latest technology. I also wanted a car with the reliability that Toyota builds into their vehicles. I have only had the car for 5 weeks now, but I have yet to find anything negative about the car. If you are looking for a well-built, quality hybrid sedan the Camry is a worthwhile consideration.
