Positive Review
I've had a Tesla model 3 dual motor, Audi Q5 plugin, and the first release Subaru Soltera. We own are big fans of Subaru and appreciate the build quality that rivials high end European cars. A quick summary: Tesla - great tech but also found the drive by screen annoying, and extremely poor fit and finish with rattles and windows. Poor body panel alignment and randon tech glitches led me to trade it in for a Audi Q5 plugin. The Audi was nice but at 1500 miles it left me stopped dead on a busy street with an "electrical malfunction error" displayed on the dash. Long story short, after a month in the shop with not progress on a repair, I won a lemon lawsuit. So, when Subaru announce the Solterra I jump on the opportunity. Well, it's a Toyota which isn't a bad thing by itself but it had several design flaws and was way behind in EV tech including range and drive time. So, this led me to the Trailseeker which I just got a week ago and I love it! All the flaws of the prior EVs have been addressed. I'm getting 280 plus miles of range, and the erognomics are great. I can't complain about the performance either and, unlike the Tesla I owned, the fit and finish are typical Subaru. My wife and I enjoy hitting the great outdoors in Arizona and the AWD X-mode and great ground clearance makes this a hit for those who like to avoid the gas pump and want to get out for adventures. Great job Subaru!
