Positive Review
3 cly 4wd what a great combination. This car gets great gas milage and can go anywhere. What it lacks in comfort is made up in everything else. Real fun to drive. However it is not meant for interstate travel 65mph and under.

Fun to drive
3 cylinder
5 speed manual transmission. Plenty of power. Took off road. Just a fun car. 4 X 4 good in snow. Good gas mileage.
The car is AMAZING!
simple maintenance, fun to drive, four doors, 4WD
parts can be hard to find, corrosion hard to fight
One of very few cars available with on demand 4WD, four doors, and good fuel mileage, the Justy fills a niche that few others can compete with! I own two, and would not consider selling either one! Maintenance is easy, and problems are few and far between. Most parts are fairly easy to find, and reasonably inexpensive. Gas mileage is good, but best when using 2WD. The five speed manual transmission is nearly bulletproof, but the ECVT automatic can be a real nightmare if it decides to fail. When in doubt, give up on the ECVT and install a good used five-speed manual trans. I would recommend this series of cars to anyone who lives in an area where 4WD is needed from time to time, and fuel mileage is important to you. Also, these things are light and frisky, and fun to drive. I like to pretend I am racing in the world rally championship !
I have owned this car for a few months now and absolutely love it. The 4WD works great in the snow and ice, and I seem to get a pretty steady 36-38 mpg. I have always owned Volvo cars and may have found a new friend with Subaru. Great car, great price and great economy...
Have owned several Subarus. This is a great make and model and it gives a Subaru owner the ability to have the 4 wheel drive option with great gas mileage combined. This little car has a lot of pep and get up and go. Love the 5 speed which helps with the power ratios. This little car doesn't turn any heads with its style and beauty but is dependable and seems to go the distance any time you need it!
i bought this car when the price was cheaper, and because it was a 3 cylinder/automatic.i didnt do a car fax before i bought it. i lost my third gear.found out it would cost me 1,000 to 2,000 to have tranny fixed.i had it about a year before it happened.wound up donate to charity.could of drove it around with 1-2 gear i guess.after i bought it,i found out it had had previous, engine and tranny work, engine had 65,000 on it.not sure it was original miles.if its a YELLOW subbaru JUSTY,DONTbuy it.it was a very good car on gas ect,but a real piece of junk, and a big headache.have seen several with both 2wd/4wd in my area still run ning!
