Critical Review
Subaru manufacturer will not be making these car's no longer after the year 2022. This car's value will depreciate really fast next year. There are over 25 auto manufacturer plants that will no longer make other vehicles as well. It's true, it's been updated on the internet and all new vehicle's must become electric?? I, must sale this car immediately.

Lightweight, fun, style, rear wheel drive, manual transmission, superior handling
small, tight seats, loud interior
Subaru BRZ: A True Driver's Car The Subaru BRZ stands out as a truly awesome vehicle, despite what some online reviews at KBB might suggest. It appears there's an attempt by certain individual to unfairly skew its rating, perhaps due to its traditional internal combustion engine or the availability of new model years. It's important to clarify that the 2025 model is indeed available, and the BRZ is fundamentally designed as a lightweight, rear-wheel-drive, ICE sports car – a deliberate evocation of classic performance. Key to its appeal are the distinctive flat boxer engine, engaging manual transmission, and easily disengageable traction control. Unmatched Driving Experience at this Price Point The BRZ is a masterpiece of affordable, visceral, and satisfying performance. It captures the essence of iconic 80s sports cars like the Nissan 280Z, Toyota Celica GT, and Mazda RX-7 (without the rotary complications). When compared to contemporary rivals such as the Miata RF, Nissan 350Z, older Porsche Boxsters, Toyota GR Corolla, and VW GTI, the BRZ consistently ranks at or near the top, depending on individual priorities. Addressing Past Perceptions Earlier models of the BRZ faced criticisms of being slightly underpowered, a concern comprehensively addressed with the 2020 engine update. While some track enthusiasts noted rare oil starvation issues in specific extreme conditions, those buying the car for dedicated track use are typically well-aware of these highly specialized (and solvable) problems. This contrasts with the more pervasive and costly bearing issues often associated with older Porsche Boxsters. Practicality Meets Performance Ultimately, the BRZ delivers pure driving enjoyment and striking aesthetics in a remarkably reliable and accessible package. While it may not be the fastest car on the road, its handling is arguably the best in its price segment. Potential considerations include the very low seating position and narrowly bolstered seats, which might not suit everyone. The interior noise level is noticeable, and the cup holders are somewhat inconveniently located behind the elbow. However, for those debating between a Miata RF and the BRZ, the BRZ offers superior daily drivability, providing more usable storage, better cup holders, increased power, a tighter suspension, and more effective brakes. peace! you won't be disappointed
Comfortable and incredibly fun to drive
Just needs a little more horsepower
It's hard to come up with any negatives towards this vehicle. The most glaring one would be that it could use just a little more horsepower, but that can be pretty easily fixed. This car is an incredible entry-level sports car and is incredibly fun to drive. Having taken it on multiple long road trips, I can say that it is comfortable and fun as hell.
handling and fast
infotainment center and rides very low
Ignore the one star dummy thats mad cause the car is not electric. Great handling and fast. The pit falls you will run into are the infotainment center (easy fix once car is out of warranty) and sits very low.
Value, fun, cost to own
Doesn’t make v8 noises I guess lol
The only thing that really compares to this car in my opinion is the Mazda Miata, however this gives you more power for less money as well as better practicality. The car is enormously fun and allows you to drive spiritedly without breaking laws I really feel it has the perfect amount of power for a sporty daily.
Is everything a pure sports car is with no excess.
Noise at highway speeds.
This car may not be the fastest through the quarter mile, 0 to 60, or around a race track. But, it is faster than a lot of other cars and quick enough to make you grin from ear to ear without the OMG I can't think this fast moment. Now that we have that out of the way here is a little about the 2024 BRZ that apparently is coming. We all know about the current 2023. So the one star reviews are obviously used grass in a cow pasture. And why allow such obvious trash anyway? You edited this post to death because it mentioned........ But post reviews from someone who does not even own, nor has driven the car? And another from someone who has little or no knowledge of the future, but claims to be clairvoyant? Yep more of that stuff you have to watch out for. Enough soapbox already, So a little context from the writer: I have owned more than 14 sports cars. Some of them at decidedly the top end of the scale including a Porsche 944 and 911 a gaggle of Corvettes, several BMWs including a 2022 M3, and a couple of 5.0 Mustang GTs. And have driven many more than I can remember. So against this backdrop I offer my humble opinion of the 2022 BRZ. It is FUN packed to the brim, rear end waggling, corner squeezing, speed limit busting FUN. Now I did stick a cat back exhaust and disabled the piped in sound so the real engine sound tells me what it's doing (very handy when referencing the tach would cause loss of situational awareness). It is more fun overall than any of the other war wagons I have owned or driven. Sure, some others are faster, or louder (love big v8s) or can reach a little farther into the lateral grip bucket. But none of them did it all with as much grace and sheer joy. The BRZ just begs you to toss it around with abandon. Plant your right foot and forget there is a brake pedal for a while. Playful, communicative, proactive, good looking, and willing. We all need some of that! Not for everyone, but if driving is a passion or a sport then this belongs in your garage. Along with the bags of money you have saved.
This is my daily. Im a driver. Its awesome. 10000 miles and still finding things I like about it. These other couple of goons couldnt find their way out of a wet paper bag.

fun to drive, great looks
thirsty, tiny trunk
Just as title says. Under 30grand, a manual, rwd, 2 door coupe, non-turbo vehicle. Last car in the us. No more. Grab it while you can. Huge improvement from previous model. Better look, more upscale, less rice burner style, better suspension, torque is improved along with acceleration. Comfortable yet sporty handling, quiet interior. The car is amazing for its price. Sure some are better tech equipped but for me, rwd, non turbo, manual was the key.
