Why the 2026 Hyundai Palisade Redesign Makes It an Even Better Value Than Before

The Hyundai Palisade was already among our favorite midsize family SUVs, and it got even better with its 2026 redesign. Here’s how this 3-row SUV became a better value in its new generation.

Let’s start with what has always been one of its biggest strengths: its warranty. Tied with the Kia Telluride for the best warranty coverage in its class, the Hyundai Palisade continues to be backed by a 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. This seriously bolsters the Palisade’s value proposition in our book.

The pricing hasn’t changed much with the 2026 redesign, but the Hyundai Palisade now gives you more bang for the buck than ever before. For starters, it has a little more interior space for passengers and cargo, making it a more suitable rig for families who will actually use the third row regularly.

Interior features, including technology, safety, and comfort, have been upgraded for 2026. Dual 12.3-inch displays now come standard, as does a wireless charging pad and enhanced driver assistance features like automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. These little updates help keep the Palisade fresh against tough competitors like the Honda Pilot and Toyota Grand Highlander.

In the upper trims, new options are available that you couldn’t get previously in the Palisade. Just a few include a built-in dashcam, heated and ventilated seats in all three rows, and what Hyundai calls “Relaxation Seats” with advanced reclining capabilities.

Fuel economy with the standard V6 is about the same as before, but there’s a newly available, more efficient Palisade Hybrid. Hyundai estimates a combined fuel economy rating of up to 34 mpg, which beats the non-hybrid’s rating of 21 mpg by a significant margin. Although the hybrid costs a little more than a comparable V6-powered Palisade, the hybrid can be a better value in the long run, considering how much gas it saves.

The Hyundai Palisade is simply a great value regardless of the trim or powertrain you go with. In the more affordable trims, you’re getting a spacious and comfortable midsize SUV with 3-row seating and modern technology. Going up to the upper trims like the Calligraphy model makes the Palisade comparable to a pricier SUV from a luxury brand while still starting at under $60k.
