The 2026 Kia Sportage gets a bunch of updates this year, including some new tech items and features. This is the short list of our favorites.

Dual 12.3-inch displays
Now standard on all Sportage models, this pair of screens gives the driver an expansive instrument panel that blends into a single panoramic setting, also housing the center display.
Wireless device charging
EX and higher trims get standard wireless charging, freeing the cabin from the clutter of cables.
Drive Wise safety system
The latest version of Kia’s comprehensive set of driver aids, Drive Wise, handles adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assistance very well in the Sportage.

Powered tailgate
Another feature that’s standard in EX and higher trims, the programmable-height power liftgate can even open automatically when it detects the key approaching.
Harman Kardon audio system
This premium audio system is standard for SX and higher trims, and optional on the X-Line. It’s a crisp, clear system from a brand often found in German luxury cars.
Blind-spot View Monitor
Kia’s blind spot monitoring system is standard on the SX Prestige level and available on the X-Line. It uses real-time video to show the driver what’s approaching from behind when using the turn signal, such as when changing lanes or making a turn.
