The 2025 Hyundai Tucson has risen to be one of the 15 best-selling vehicles in America with its appealing combination of advanced tech, great space, and a long warranty.
Hyundai builds the Tucson in five grades, including a rugged XRT built for light off-road duty. The top of the Tucson line is the Limited edition (despite the name, Hyundai will build as many of them as Americans will buy).
It starts at $40,140, including a $1,495 delivery fee. Shoppers can push the price a little higher by adding all-wheel drive (AWD) for another $1,500. However, Hyundai dealers won’t push you toward any option packages with a Limited model – it already includes everything you can get on a Tucson.
Let’s explore what Hyundai offers on the 2025 Tucson Limited AWD.

187 Horsepower and All-Wheel-Drive Grip
Hyundai builds every gas-powered Tucson with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Limited buyers also get paddle shifters, letting you take control of the shift points when you want to.
Those seeking more power can opt for the Tucson Hybrid or Tucson Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV). However, it isn’t necessary for most, as the standard engine provides ample passing power.
Hyundai’s HTRAC AWD system enhances safety in adverse weather conditions. Hyundai takes drive modes more seriously than some competitors – Sport is significantly sportier than Normal here. AWD models get a Snow mode. If you want more terrain modes, you’ll need to step down to the XRT, which adds Mud and Sand settings.
Premium Audio and Tech

Lower Tucson trims get a 4.2-inch driver’s gauge cluster. But the Limited brings a full 12.3-inch digital driver’s instrument screen next to a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen for a crisp, tech-centered look.
You don’t have to look down at it to know the basics, either. Speed and turn-by-turn directions appear in a head-up display on the Limited.
Limited buyers also get an enhanced audio experience thanks to a Bose premium sound setup not available on other trims. Adding the Bose system enables dynamic voice recognition, allowing you to control certain features with voice commands.
Real Leather and Heated Surfaces
We’re fans of the H-Tex faux leather in lower Tucson trims, but there’s no denying that real leather is the best-feeling automotive surface. The 2025 Tucson Limited gives you the real thing on the seats and steering wheel.
The front seats, both of which are power-adjustable in eight directions, are also heated, offering three temperature settings for the cold. They’re ventilated, too, which can keep you cool in summer. A heated steering wheel keeps the other surface you touch constantly pleasant in cold weather.
Actual Color Inside

Automotive designers have gotten a little boring in recent years. Many automakers offer nothing but black interiors on their mainstream entries. If you’re lucky, there’s sometimes a lighter shade on offer, too.
Tucson Limited buyers get three colorways to choose from – black for the traditionalist, gray for those who live in areas where black is a bad idea in the summer, and a unique dark-green-on-gray leather setup that is like nothing else in its price range.
You can already tell which one we like, can’t you?
Panoramic Sunroof and Roof Rails
You can get a power tilt-and-slide sunroof on other Tucson trim levels. But Limited buyers all get a larger panoramic sunroof.
Roof rails are standard, giving you added storage options when you need to carry a lot of gear.
Additional Safety Assists
Every Tucson comes with a suite of advanced driver aids, including automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assist.
Tucson Limited buyers get a few more advanced features, too, including a Blind-Spot View Monitor we love (it shows you a camera view of your blind spot when you signal a lane change) and navigation-based smart cruise control that knows the road ahead and adjusts speed to compensate for curves in the road.
