The Hyundai Santa Fe has evolved in its approach to consumers over its generations, with the most noticeable change occurring in 2024. Its most recent design brings consumers a grander and more spacious look, thanks to its boxy design that accommodates the whole family while keeping the price reasonable. In the top Calligraphy trim, Hyundai is closing the gap between luxury and mainstream. As one of the top-rated 3-row midsize SUVs, the 2026 Santa Fe is renowned for its high-quality features, spacious interior, and advanced technology.
Here’s what you get in the 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy and why it’s worth considering.
Performance

The Hyundai Santa Fe comes in SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, and Calligraphy trims. Each has a turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with 277 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Like most SUVs in this class, front-wheel drive (FWD) comes standard and all-wheel drive (AWD) is optional. The Santa Fe Hybrid produces 231 hp and 271 lb-ft of torque, achieving excellent fuel economy, getting a combined rating of 34 to 36 mpg.
The Santa Fe Calligraphy is available in all of the above powertrains. It gives buyers a choice between the more efficient hybrid and the more affordable non-hybrid, with the choice of FWD or AWD.
Luxurious Interior

The Hyundai Santa Fe provides those in the market with fewer reasons to switch to an upscale brand when they desire a luxurious vehicle. The Calligraphy features a new look with an available Pecan Brown Nappa leather interior. This style is exclusive to the Calligraphy trim and features material that gives the Santa Fe a premium look and feel, complemented by quilted leather for added comfort. Other standard interior features for the Calligraphy include heated second-row captain’s chairs, heated and ventilated front seats with a relaxation mode in the driver’s seat, a dual-pane sunroof, dual wireless charging pads, and a Bose premium audio system.
Safety Features

When it comes to safety and technology, the Santa Fe Calligraphy gives drivers more reassurance. Every trim of the Santa Fe comes standard with safety features expected in a modern SUV, including automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring. The Calligraphy model takes it a step further with additional features, including a 360-degree parking camera, evasive steering assist, and navigation-based smart cruise control with curve control.
One of our favorite features in the Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy is both a comfort feature and a safety feature: Highway Driving Assist 2. One of our favorite systems of its kind, this semi-autonomous highway driving system feels natural and reassuring when keeping you centered in your lane at a safe distance from the car in front of you. It helps with steering inputs as you keep a hand on the wheel, and it never feels intrusive.
