The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron electric luxury compact SUV is a member of a relatively new and rapidly growing segment. Populated by entries from the top luxury brands on earth, it’s a competitive set aimed at buyers who have all of the normal daily transport requirements — family, friends, cargo, pets — and also want a luxurious, capable, quiet electric vehicle (EV). Compared to most of the alternatives, the Q6 e-tron has good power output and range. Given its mid-$60,000s starting price, the Q6 e-tron is anything but entry-level, meaning it’s likely a better fit for established professionals or older families than it is for young families just starting out. With available all-wheel drive (AWD) and up to 321 miles of range, the Q6 e-tron is nonetheless a flexible choice that could suit a wide range of lifestyles.
The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron is an all-new vehicle with no prior generations to look back on for reliability or resale value. However, it’s an Audi, and very similar overall to the Q5, aside from the electric drivetrain, so we expect it to be good on both accounts. The new Q6 e-tron is available in three core trims, with a choice of standard rear-wheel drive (RWD) or available all-wheel drive. The base Q6 e-tron generates 302 horsepower, while the top-spec SQ6 e-tron pumps out as much as 509 hp with launch control engaged. The Q6 e-tron is also one of the first Audis to offer one-pedal driving, something many urban EV drivers have grown to appreciate.
