2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA with EQ Technology Favorite Features & Tech

MBUX 4.0 Infotainment: Showcased for the first time on the 2026 CLA, the latest generation of MBUX features a full-width glass panel housing three large displays (two if you skip the optional passenger touchscreen). The driver always gets a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a large 14-inch touchscreen just to the right. The second 14-inch passenger touchscreen comes in when you opt for the Pinnacle line package. This design feels tech-forward, but we think it might be a little more impressive when executed as one continuous display, like it will be in the 2027 GLC with EQ Technology.

AI-Powered Voice Assistant: Powered by ChatGPT, the voice assistant inside MBUX 4.0 is far more conversational and natural than prior systems. This makes it approachable and viable as an alternative to interacting directly with the large touchscreen while driving.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto: Rest assured, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are still available wirelessly if you prefer mirroring your phone rather than using anything Mercedes could have devised here.

Drive Assist Pro: Drive Assist Pro is a new urban/low-speed driving aid that gives the CLA more control over acceleration and steering when maneuvering around with a destination set in the infotainment.

Driving Range: With a 312-mile range on the high-performing CLA 350 4MATIC and 374 miles on the 250+, range anxiety is not a significant issue for the CLA with EQ Technology. DC fast charging from 10%-80% can be done in 22 minutes at the fastest Tesla Supercharger stations, which is on the faster side for EVs with similar battery sizes.
