The Honda Prelude only comes in one trim level, so each car comes fully loaded with features and tech.
S+ Shift
As there is no transmission with Honda’s two-motor hybrid powertrain in the Prelude, S+ Shift does stand-in duty for an “engaging driving” feel. By simulating transmission shifts with throttle blips, mock rev matching, and artificial engine noise pumped into the cabin, Honda creates a virtual enthusiast driving experience. It’s a fun party trick, but we’re not convinced drivers will use it on a regular basis.
Civic Type R Suspension Components

Incorporating some suspension parts include lower control arms, damper forks and front and rear tracks of the juggernaut Civic Type R, Honda reaches for a more enthusiast customer than the Civic Hybrid Touring. Adaptive dampers for different drive modes including GT, Sport and Individual, as well as Prelude-tuned Brembo front brakes push the Prelude into special territory. These elements make the Honda Prelude a more engaging driving experience than any simulated theatrics.
Agile Assist
The enhanced Agile Assist now engages during braking as well as acceleration. This system mitigates understeer in the Prelude and aids with grip and control going into and coming out of turns. It gives spirited driving in canyons added stability.
Honda Sensing

Honda’s tried and true suite of safety features come standard in the Prelude, and include systems like adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, and mroe. We also appreciate the standard blind-spot monitoring, as the coupe’s thick B-pillars to support the liftback create a major blind spot. These systems feel unobtrusive and can be shut off when engaged in dynamic driving.
Comprehensive Smartphone connectivity
You will stay connected with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Google built-in. As the Prelude comes fully loaded on its singular trim level, you also get a native navigation system as well as wireless charging.
