2026 Honda Accord: Our Favorite Features and Tech

Honda Sensing: The Honda Accord earns the top 5-Star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the coveted Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). In addition to its excellent crash-test ratings, the Accord earns these top safety scores thanks to its Honda Sensing suite of driver-assistance technology features. It bundles features like automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control to make every drive a little safer and more relaxed.

Modern infotainment: The Honda Accord’s standard infotainment system gets a welcome upgrade for 2026. To start, the screen is larger. It’s grown from 7 inches to 9 inches, making it a little easier to read and lending the interior a more high-tech feel. Additionally, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity now comes standard. This makes it easy to bring your maps, music, and more to the car’s screen without having to take your phone out of your purse or pocket.

SE trim: Upgrading to the higher SE trim brings upgrades in styling, comfort, and convenience. It gets a sporty new set of 19-inch wheels this year, enhancing the athletic styling. Extra creature comforts include a power moonroof, heated front seats, an 8-speaker audio system, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Accord SE achieves all of this while keeping the price relatively affordable, so it’s easy to recommend if it fits your budget.

Spacious cabin: OK, this isn’t a “feature” per se, but one of our favorite things about the Honda Accord is its roomy interior. With 40.8 inches of rear legroom and 16.7 cubic feet of trunk space, the Accord is among the roomiest midsize sedans. If you’ll regularly have tall passengers or bulky cargo, the Accord is the top choice in its competitive segment. It’s living proof that you don’t need an SUV to get a lot of space.

Standard wireless charging: Another nice upgrade to the Honda Accord for 2026 is a standard wireless charging pad on every trim. With wireless charging and wireless smartphone connectivity both coming standard, you can leave the charging cables at home. We’ve found that this goes a long way in keeping the interior decluttered.
