2026 Honda Accord Interior Review

When we tested the Honda Accord, we found its interior understated yet rich in quality materials. Everything looks and feels high-quality and built to last. The infotainment system in the LX and SE features a 9-inch touchscreen, an upgrade from the 7-inch screen in earlier models. It’s large enough to be useful but not so large that it dominates the dashboard. Other welcome upgrades for 2026 include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a wireless charging pad, all standard.

The driver’s seat is sufficiently cushioned and supportive for long trips. Thin pillars on either side of the windshield provide excellent outward visibility. The sloping roof may not seem ideal for rear headroom, but we’ve sat back there and found it’s fine for average-size adults. Air vents and USB-C charging ports are present and accounted for, which your passengers will appreciate.

Speaking of the back, the Honda Accord is the class leader in rear legroom at 40.8 inches. That’s a little more than the Toyota Camry and much more than the Hyundai Sonata, Kia K5, and Nissan Altima. The extra space provides plenty of room, even for tall adults, and more than enough space for most children. The Accord also has the biggest trunk in its class. With 16.7 cubic feet of trunk space, plus rear seats that fold down when you need extra room, who needs an SUV?

2025 Honda Accord Hybrid

Because of the way Honda packages features in the Accord model range, the non-hybrid Accord is somewhat limited in available interior niceties. If you want more premium features like leather seats, a bigger infotainment screen, or a Bose premium audio system, you’ll need to upgrade to the Accord Hybrid. That said, the Accord SE is nicely equipped with a power moonroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and an 8-speaker audio system.
