2025 Ford Bronco Sport: Who Is This Car For?

2025 Ford Bronco Sport Sasquatch

The Ford Bronco Sport is a compact crossover SUV, the little sibling to the Jeep Wrangler’s midsize competitor, the Bronco. The Bronco Sport has been a success since its launch as a 2021 model, thanks to its rugged appearance, off-road chops, and standard all-wheel drive (AWD). Ford announced that the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport will have an available Sasquatch package, upgrading its potential on the trails. The new model year will bring additional improvements, including a class-leading 13.2-inch infotainment screen.

Who Is This Car For?

The Bronco Sport is for anyone looking to get further out into nature than a gravel road but still wanting a comfortable vehicle for driving around town. This may be the compact SUV for you – even if you aren’t an off-roading expert.

Since 2020, Ford has attempted to democratize off-roading by providing their buyers with the Off-Roadeo track courses available throughout the United States. With their new vehicle purchase, Bronco and Bronco Sport buyers get a full day of training from off-roading experts.

Ford has improved the 2025 Bronco Sport’s off-road capability by making the Sasquatch package available on the Outer Banks and Badlands trims. The package upgrades the suspension and adds steel underbody protection, 29-inch all-terrain tires, and auxiliary switches for owner-added accessories.

Driving the Bronco Sport on a test trail in Off-Road mode was a blast, and I’m a novice off-road driver. The Bronco Sport handled deep ruts and uneven terrain beautifully. I felt safe and confident and would absolutely take one out again.

What Else Is New?

Ford has improved the technology package for all trims, with standard SYNC 4 and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A bring-your-own-device tray lives behind the center display for handy phone storage. The driver now gets a configurable digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster.

Beyond the technology package, the 2025 Bronco Sport comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+, which includes:

  • Automatic high beams
  • Blind-spot and cross-traffic alerts
  • Lane-keeping assist and automatic emergency braking
  • Collision-avoidance emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warnings, and dynamic braking support
  • Evasive steering assistance
  • Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and lane-centering

The 2025 Bronco Sport arrives at dealerships in November, but the Sasquatch package won’t be available until early in 2025. Pricing begins at $31,590, including destination charge. See new Ford Bronco Sport models for sale
