Expect to replace a transmission a lot. Expect a massive headache with recalls but no parts. Expect to not have a vehicle for six weeks while you wait for parts. Expect the dealership to not know how to handle it if you go past the average mileage on this year. Expect a nightmare. Good luck , hope you have two other trucks and a car like me so you’re not stranded. Have fun. Somebody please put a dam Allison in it already. Maybe an independent transmission cooler.

Only issue was window needed re prgrammed in first month of ownership.Gas milage is not as good as expectedc but a much better rding vehicel than oither HD PU.
Had this truck going on 4 years. I have 50k miles on it and not a second of trouble. I have hauled trucks and pulled boats from San Antonio to South Carolina, pulls great.

Not reliable as I ended missing business appointments $. And on top of that is a hit or miss if I will get a refund on the renta
Worst truck I’ve ever owned. The truck has less than 3,000 miles. After driving it for under 10 minutes, the battery light came on, followed immediately by a high temperature warning. Another driver waved me down to tell me I was leaking a large amount of fluid. I pulled over right away, opened the hood, and saw a complete mess, severe leaking, a torn belt, and multiple broken components. This truck is used for my business, so reliability is critical. After towing it to the service department, I was told they would need the truck for at least a week. When I asked about a loaner or rental, I was referred to Enterprise and told the rental would be out of pocket, and they could not confirm whether RAM would reimburse me. Now I’m stuck without my truck for over a week, paying more than $500 for a rental, with no clear answer on reimbursement, all for a truck that’s practically brand new. Extremely disappointing experience. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy a RAM.
my odometer and trip meters which effect fuel milage estimate and distance to empty.have not work since i drove it off the lot after writing a huge check nobody can fix it...these truck are not ready for prime time
I just purchased a 2025 RAM 2500, with the 6.4 gas engine. First off I was very impressed with how quite this truck really is. Love it! The ride is great for a 2500. As most truck people know the big trucks are for work and hauling. The look is great. Have not towed with it yet. But over all im looking forward to owning rhis truck. Could not be happier. Four years and zero issues. This truck (ordered with a 50 gallon tank) is super comfortable, quiet and an excellent all around vehicle. 4x4 of course.
