i needed basically a car to haul hay. More than 2 bales lol. The warlock came with a smal 3.6 cylinder keeping me at about 20 mpg, and the 4wd is just dream in the snow!! Maintenance is not very pricey at all and i have had no real issues at all with the truck!! I am so happy to have left the ford focus in the dust to trade up to this pickup. Fits a family with a couple of horses perfect!!

READ THIS IF YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT BUYING A RAM! I recommend that people seriously think twice about buying the 2020 RAM Rebel. I've owed the truck for 3-weeks and the problems began in the first week. I totally regret purchasing this truck and lose sleep at night worrying about what's going to go wrong next. RAM USA customer service is some of the worst I've experienced. They send templated emails responses and close cases without actually resolving anything. From my experience, they deal with these issues by ignoring them. Things that have gone wrong so far: 1. UConnect Screen (which controls 90% of truck functionality) freeze-up unrecoverable. RAM tech service recommends disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes...that's their idea of a fix...never mind impossible driving down the highway. 2. UConnect Screen fade. Sometimes the screen fades to the point that items are unreadable. Again, RAM has 90% of the trucks functionality control through this screen...so this is a big deal. 2. Rain sensing wipers nonfunctioning. I don't think these ever worked. Failure out of the gate. 3. Seat heaters malfunction. The passenger seat heater stopped working in first week. 4. Remote start malfunction. Truck fails to start. I feel like I'm betting in Las Vegas every time I try remote start. Will it work? Will it not work? 5. Sirius Guardian App malfunction. App crashes. Requests made on App don't happen. I've had three remote start failures so far. 6. Phone controls malfunction. Could not hang up phone with steering wheel controls. Functionality froze. Had to pull over to resolve. Uconnect did not fix itself until truck was restarted. The picture below is of the rain sensing wipers not working. My $50,000 mistake. Hopefully others can avoid such a situation.

I have owned this truck since new and take care of it for every service and ensure it maintains it's durability. As the truck ended the 36k factory warranty, I noticed a creaking sound in the front end area. Turned out that Stellantis/Ram doesn't offer any way to grease the front suspension to prevent the components from drying out and needing to be replaced. I had to replace both front control arms due to the ball joints being fixed to the arm and not a single replaceable part, the ball joints wore out, and it was metal to metal. A costly $2500 bill to my wallet. These trucks also lose a significant value after owning only 6 months, nearly 15-20k and you can never get that value back up with these vehicles. I would never purchase another RAM truck unless it was a heavy duty with the diesel. The gas trucks are worthless and a money pit.
mpg, range, comfort, cubbies, tonneau cover, spray bed liner, adj height air suspension,
Battery life, rear obstacle sensor very sensitive but can turn off, diesel and oil change extra cost
Bought a 2021 ecodiesel with 16k miles. Now have 42k miles and this thing is great for long trips, rides like a caddy but mpg has been as high as 30 mpg from calirado to Oregon and back. I think this one is geared for mpg and not towing, but I got it for the 33 gal tank, comfort (drove F150 and GMC no real comparison on ride or mpg), room and forgive me mass in case of accident. So far couple of recalls, one for fuel pump, but it hasn’t broke down, had electrical glitches, etc. The distance keeping cruise is great for stop and go, it will bring you to a complete stop. Things I don’t like are the split tailgate, works fine but have to slam it shut or it’ll give you open tailgate warning. If you don’t drive it weekly, the battery runs down quick due to all the electronics. I’m on my 3rd battery, now I keep it on a battery tender if out of town. Plenty of power, but it does have slight turbo lag getting away from stop signs, always when you don’t need iag ie speeding traffic bearing down on you. So if you want good mpg, great range for long trips or offroad (adjustable height suspension nice plus 33 gal tank) good comfort, adequate power, fairly quiet diesel, ability to do light towing up to about 9-10k lbs, the tonneau covered bed makes a huge trunk which is surprisingly dry in rain for travel, 360 camera view, this might be your truck!
this truck has 152,000 miles on it, however, the engine gave up the ghost at 140,000. So, the engine was replace with a Jasper engine with a 100,000 mile warranty. Which is transferable.
The truck has been a great vehicle and we have used it on several trips with no issues. Runs great and very comfortable for long trips
No other exactly like it. This truck was built to spec for the one and only owner of the vehicle. Unique exterior color along with a fully loaded package.
Very dependable, gets great mpg for a 4x4 truck, strong motor, pulls a 16 ft trailer very well. As great looks, and is very comfortable on trips. I average around 24 on highway, 18 in city
City driving was good
Engine is unreliable after 100k miles
I bought 2019 brand new had 37 miles on it when I drove off the lot. Great truck till the engine blew at 130k miles. Had it replaced and it blew again 220k miles. I drive alot and always kept up with oil changes using mobile 1 synthetic. Both mechanics said cause was the displacement. Will not be buying another ram with a gas engine. My diesel 2500 has been amazing.
Electronics have major glitches. Half my gauge cluster went out. Stellantis customer service is a joke. I bought it new 3 months ago and have been without half my gauge cluster for a month. Sometimes certain things on the 14" screen don't come up. Had issues with the HUD going dim. Issues with the vehicle not starting, not going into gear, shifting hard. Probably going to sue for lemon law violation soon. Don't buy a Ram!!!
