"928: Forgotten Icon"

My father owned a brand new 928 in 1985. It was my inspiration that convinced my father to buy it. He saw the multiple posters on my bedroom walls that coveted this auto. I then remember later as the car approached it's fifth or sixth year my father having nothing but problems with it eventually trading it in for a 328 Ferrari which he still owns. I was looking for a second vehicle to pair with my X5. I remembered my dreams of the 928 and researched buying a 1995 which was the last year of production. As soon as I saw that I could buy one for less than a new 350z I bought one. I love ths car as a preowned. The options, refinement and power are fantastic for a car under 30k. It is much more a Porsche than the first gen Boxter will ever be. My GTS is truly a decade better than the version my father owned well a decade earlier than mine. I have not had a single issue with this car like earlier versions even now in its twelfth year. Even better considering how much less I paid for mine. Happy Motoring.
