This machine is incredible. I just purchased it and it is one awesome car. Granted, previous owner has replaced Starter, alternator, tires, brakes, and rotors. This thing is a a monster! LOL! She is averaging 22 miles per gallon. The interior is pure luxury and the 4.0 DOHC engine is purring like a kitten! Black leather interior, and the AC is extreme! It even has rear environmental controls! The sound system is incredible! All this for a 1995! What? What? 107k and it just rocks it! Beautiful car as well! This is definitely one of the best GM cars ever made. She is for sure my new baby! Love it! She has some quirks, but I have never driven a car like this before! And all too boot, she is a 1995 model! Incredible!

It handles so well on the road. Great in the winter. Just a very comfortable smooth riding and fun car to drive.

We have owned this car since 1999; garaged it during winters. With its V-8 engine, leather seats, and automatic adjustment ability, it is the most comfortable, luxurious ride you can find. Wonderful for those long road trips to view this beautiful country. Never had any maintenance issue other than normal wear items. Gets 26 mpg at 70 mph. Wonderful car.
all around decent transport, economy and power too
rare car, parts pricey!
The car has nice appeal to the eye. Rides nice, little clunky cornering (due to poor suspension). GM went overboard design and build "chassis", but chimped out on suspension durability. Add road salty winters = money pit or white elephant. Was going to buy one for parts, however, the ones for sale are nicer than mine, so, that said, I would buy one and use mine for parts, LOL.. excellent "highway star", really bad for in city driving. 9mpg in town and 24mpg in cruise control and averages 20mpg mixed driving. Makes good winter beater, yet still looks good. and super fast if you burn Shell V-power!! maxxed out peddle/odo...
ONE-Good HWY MPG
TOO many-got-6 Hours or MORE?

hmmm, none, oops wait the cup holder
I have owned this 96 beauty for over a year now. Had a few problems but not much to worry about. I just took a 3000 mile road trip a month ago and it drove and rode great. averaged just under 29mpg. My car now has 151000 miles on it. uses less that a quarter of a quart of oil between changes. It is in great shape inside and out. I plan to keep it as an extra car for as long as it will last, hopefully well over 300,000. Not sure if I would recommend this car to others but that's because this is a car that deserves to be taken car of and not everyone does that.
Highway fuel mileage, ride, luxury, quality
City fuel mileage, lack of dealer support.
My 1995 Aurora is 20 years old and everything still works perfectly. It's had good maintenance but the quality of the build and strength of the body has made this one of , no the best car I've ever owned. Look into the figures and you will find that the Aurora (gen 1) was unsurpassed in it's day. Mine runs and drives like new, yes it does use a little oil, but it was designed to, (look it up). Those that passed this car up, it was expensive, missed a bargain even at $37,000 in 1995. It didn't come with may options because it already had them all as standard equipment and then some. Would I buy it again? You Bet!
comfortable, luxury, well designed interior
handling, orphaned
When I first sat in an Aurora for a test drive it was like slipping on a perfectly fitted glove. It's a pleasure to drive. While it's a fairly uncommon car and part of a defunct brand I've yet to encounter any major mechanical problems. The V8 engine provides plenty of power even if it does handle a little heavy on corners.
Comfortable to drive and smooth riding.
Not enough cup holders.
It handles so well on the road. Great in the winter. Just a very comfortable smooth riding and fun car to drive.
good gas mile. 18 city, almost 30 hwy
you tend to speed because of the comfort
This is my 2nd one that I bought coming out of a 2 yr lease. My 1st one I traded in a cadillac.....no comparison. The aurora is so much better. The ride is so smooth & it has turbo power. It can GO!!!! No major maintenance just tires, belts, the normal stuff. EVERYONE can't believe the age of the car.
