Positive Review
Nissan has properly engineered this truck. Notice that I said engineered, not built. The three "majors" build trucks, which have irregular workmanship, lack of detail, and quality control. With a proven Cummings engine and an interior (Platinum Edition) that rivals Lexus, Nissan has set a new standard. Written by an Ex F-250 super duty owner.
Critical Review
Glad nissan quit building these trucks. They are trash. First was a 2018 pro4x. Constant dpf issues. After 20k in warranty work, they voided my warranty. The truck needed an egr cooler. Sold it. Second is a 2016 sl. As of 2/18/2024 it has 75,017 on the clock. Has had to have the lp turbo replaced, the lift pump replaced, blend door actuator, and a window motor in the last year/1500 miles. Scared to drive it because of Constant catastrophic failures. It's now a yard ornament that's depreciating faster than a kia.

Hi bought the truck as weekender and to pull my camping trailer. The 4wd system is part time and works great. I have 4Lo and the CDL. The seats are comfortable. The interior is very quiet. It rides well. The back seat area is VERY roomy. You can have multiple options when it comes to how you need to use the back areas. It's easy to show than to write about. There is locking storage under the rear seats. Moderate storage behind the rear seats. Gas milage isn't bad. I can get 20mpg on the freeway (better than my GX460). On long trips, this is our car of choice. Nissan: when I first bought it, the Nissan dealership experience for service was poor. They seem to have improved the customer service quality globally, which is appreciated. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I drove the competitors from Ford, Ram and Toyota and found the bang for the buck here as the best. It's not the best at anything but in the top 3 in everything. They have one drivetrain with an older reliable gas V8. Towing is 11K. The equivalent Tundra as 15k more when I bought mine, and, tbh, drove worse, felt cheaper on the inside, was louder and seats less comfortable. I strongly believe the Titan XD was a marketing failure for Nissan as the product is excellent.
2024 Nissan titan XD is very underrated. I recently switched from a Ram. I will never look back. Truck has the power to pull anything. And is very reliable. I have had no issues with almost two years of owner ship. It gives you a 3/4 with the ease of driving a half ton. A larger gas tank is my only complaint. If you want a reliable great truck that is not 70-80k. This is the truck for you. True and tested V8 with a solid 9 speed transmittion. I get about 15-17 MPG in town but on the freeway i get 20-21 with cruise control.
Title says it all. garage whole life. Water for towing my small trailer kind of done with that. considered a barn find.
Confort
Defective transmission, roof leaks. Nissan corporate dealers are working together to hide the defects
2024 Nissan Titan pro 4X XD many defects notice that two days after I bought the truck transmission jumping in 4th and 5th gear with a slippage next driving up over overpass slow it jerks like you took your foot off the clutch on a standard vehicle. Also when coming to a slow stop it makes a clunking noise and lunges forward.next it started raining and it poured in under the pedals two times they tried to fix it still in the shop after 85 days 3 roof frame racks they tried to replace they failed now it's on the 4th rack Nissan corporation and the dealerships are working together to hide the transmission problems they play Hot potato with it and deny that there's anything wrong.
Reliable, strong, easy to drive and looks great!
Fuel economy, but I knew that going in.
I have owned 3 Titans since 2008. They have all been great trucks! I currently have a 2022 Titan XD Platinum Reserve. This truck is quiet, fast, smooth and reliable. I have driven it on road trips and it is super comfortable. The zero gravity seats are awesome! I get around 15 in the city and about 20 on the highway, not too bad for a large V8. It has been very reliable, and I have only done oil changes and tire rotations to date, with 36,000 miles on it. My older Titan had 110,000 and I had no issues with that either. My friend has an F 150 and has constant problems with it. He teases me about owning a "Japanese" truck but I don't have any problems, unlike his Ford. I love my truck!!
The seats are comfy while waiting for a tow

Tows better than half tons
Rides better than 3/4 tons
I've had my Titan XD for 6 years and 60k miles. Regular service only. No problems. Interior and exterior have held together very well. It tows better than half tons that are rated to tow more - I know I had one. And when not towing or hauling it rides better than the 3/4 tons out there.
Not many
Not worth the money
The 2016 Nissan Titan XD Platinum Reserve has been a total let down. For what I paid for this truck, it has been falling apart. Transmission has been changed, the fan clutch went out, the compressor went out, the starter went out and now the a/c is out and going to cost another $3,000.00. Stay away from these trucks!!!
