Positive Review
Bought the pickup as a second vehicle and to save on some gas. At the time of purchase it had almost 100,000 miles. The transmission did come out of it at around 225,000 miles. I replaced it with one from a junk yard and put a new clutch in it. At about 260,000 miles I sold it to my nephew. The other day he sent me a picture of the odometer at 410,000. The engine has never been opened; however, he started using high mileage oil in it sometime around 320,000 miles. Without a doubt it is the most amazing vehicle I have ever been associated with.
Critical Review
I've owned a 1990 Nissan Pickup SE 2dr King Cab with a 5spd and v6 for 2 years. It currently has 252k miles on the clock. The paint is in poor condition (some rust spots as well) and it's not much to look at but it runs like a champ. Excellent vehicle for a beater and for hauling things around like furniture. Only repairs needed in the truck's lifetime have been relatively minor (some clutch parts, brakes etc). With regular maintenance I'm sure this thing could hit at least 300k miles easy.

Great little truck, reliable, and gets me where I need to go. 24 years old still in amazing condition. Easy to work on.
Manual Reliable Cheap Easy to learn how to drive
Small Old
Man I love my little truck, I know it isn't much but man its just nice, it survived a T bone and didn't even need an alignment, super reliable, amazing workhorse, can tow almost anything, all while being just a bit bigger than a miata.
Fun, cost and utility
None
Just purchased shop truck 1997 with only 87K- Red, well kept - Paid $2500.00 replaced clutch, catalytic converter and shocks. Runs great hope to drive for ten years. These old trucks are hard to find that aren't beat up with hundreds of thousands of mile on them. Since purchasing this truck I have noticed a lot of trades people with them here in Northern California.
