All I can say is go check one out for yourself. 9 speed trans, 310 hp. Love this truck. Best truck out there. Real frame too. Made in Canton Mississippi with 86 percent American parts. Beats US automakers hands down.
Critical Review
The paint on my Nissan is peeling. I have been noticing it’s a manufacturing defect because I have seen many Nissans with the same issue. Is there a class action lawsuit being filed re bad paint?

I recently purchased a 2025 Nissan Frontier PRO-X, and I can say this truck delivers exactly what I was looking for—a perfect balance between old-school feel and modern conveniences. What stands out most is how honest this truck feels. In a world where many vehicles are trying to do everything, the Frontier stays true to what a truck should be. It looks like a TRUCK—bold, sharp, and purposeful. There’s no mistaking it for anything else on the road. Under the hood, you’ve got a naturally aspirated 3.8L V6—and it shows. When you press the gas, it’ll put the “giddy up” in the “oom papa mow mow.” It’s responsive, strong, and doesn’t feel overcomplicated like some of the turbocharged setups out there. Now, fuel efficiency? Hey, what do you expect—it’s a 3.8-liter V6 truck! And honestly, it could be much worse. I’ll take the reliability and performance tradeoff any day. One thing some may point out is the heavier steering, but I actually really like it. It gives me a strong sense of connection—not just to the truck, but to the road itself. It feels controlled, planted, and confident. Let’s talk interior. Are some of the plastics hard? Yep. And I’m perfectly fine with that—I don’t want a soft, fragile-feeling truck. This interior feels like it’s built to last and built to be used. As for comfort, the seats are comfortable and supportive for me, even on longer drives. The backseat? My kids fit back there, and that’s what really matters. For reference, I’m a big fella, and I can actually fit behind my own driving position with the seat pretty much all the way back—that says a lot about the space in this truck. The infotainment system is also much improved compared to the 2022–2024 models. I find it to be one of the most responsive touchscreens I’ve used—quick, smooth, and easy to navigate. The 360-degree camera video quality isn’t the sharpest, but I’m not expecting movie theater quality either. Could it be better? Sure. But it absolutely does the job. The size and capability are just right for me. It’s not oversized, yet it still has the strength and utility I need. It strikes that perfect middle ground that makes it practical for everyday driving while still being ready to work when needed. I previously owned a 2022 Frontier SV when the redesign first came out, and I can definitely see improvements here. The fit and finish feel tighter and more refined, which shows that Nissan has continued to build on an already solid platform. It’s also already turned more than one head at the gas pump and in parking lots. This truck just has that look. And for those who like to personalize their ride, I love that there are tons of aftermarket accessories available—it makes it easy to make it your own. Is it the perfect truck? For me, it’s pretty darn close. All in all, this is a truck that knows exactly what it is—and does it well. Simple. Honest. Sharp looking. Exactly what a truck ought to be.
I have 133,000 miles and zero issues with only normal maintenance every 7,500-10,000 miles. Just installed my 3 set of tires. Still preforms like new!
owned for 6 months, I have not found any thing to complain about.. The fuel milage is good, the drivability is good. The cab is comfortable and it has all of the features I want.,.PLUS a V6 310 hp and , NO TURBO
I have owned Tacomas, 4-Runners and a Camry. The 1st two had so many problems. My 2022 Frontier is reliable, performs excellent in all conditions and is a REAL truck. My Tacoma TRD felt like a Yugo in comparison.
Have had it for 6 months.,.,,,good in town gas mpg and I Love the way it drives. The interior is really nice. That V6 does a great job. My wife loves it
V6, value, functionality, handsome
Tough, dependable, clean and functional…still a truck rather than a tricked out luxmobile masquerading as a truck. Naturally Aspirated V6 that nods to durability and user needs rather than the current collective corporate “let’s see what we can squeeze from only 4 cylinders and if the buyer notices” approach. In keeping with Pro4x’s we have owned back to 2013, remains an undervalued platform that Nissan has refined and built well delivering for those who own an engaging reliable handsome truck in the drive way or on the trail
The truck is new with $1500 items that I bought it has only 2200miles added on. It’s a red 4wheel pro 4x with big tires and fancy rims. It has the best bed cover @ $1000 a bed floor cover side pin strip a black hood decal installed by body shop orange grill lights a 6cyc engine auto transmission and more options. Selling to buy a full sized size truck, it is a beautival truck.
Comfort and power
Turning radius

Nissan gave me what I paid for the taco in 18 new No markup like the local taco store wanted.... So it was a Win Win purchase.... Oh yeah did I mention the Comforable Seats and the 310 HP.....wow love this truck
