This car is insane. It only broke down once on me, and that was because no oil changed. I tuned it and it looks fantastic. Love this car a LOT!! I sold it though

I am the original owner of this car which now has 278,000 miles plus. Original turbo went 203K miles before a bolt fell through it. Still agreat looking car, this model has aged well. Now a legend, I'll try to put 500K miles on her!

My family purchased this car several years ago at an outstanding bargain. We needed a vehicle, and figured this one would get us through for a while. It has been one of the most reliable vehicles we have owned. The need for maintainance has been minimal, and it has performed exceptionally for such a small car. It really has the heart of a lion. Mine finally gave up the ghost after many years of faithful service. RIP Mitsi.

the power in this little car is awesome! it is very comforable, the recaro bucket seats are great! it is also great that the big brothers, eclipse, engine fits right in.

I bought this vehicle at 76,000 miles for $450 at an auction. It is now at 130,000 miles. It gets 36 mpg on the highway for me on a 14 gallon tank. I have had to replace the starter at 110,000 miles, never had problems with transmission, have had a very minor oil leak since I bought it. The brakes had to be repaired at 126,000 miles. Never had electrical problems, great compression. Overall very good car.

i must say i bought my mits. this yr in feb 4 $500 and the owner wasn't driving it cause he owned serveral other cars. i bought it with only 164,687mi with a small tip in the motor and the only thing i did was change the oil to 10-40 fully synthetic and put gas in the car great mil per gal ride good on the hiway good steady speed 105mph @ anytime. nowhave 179,858. keep oil changed every 3000 to 4500mi. runs superb!

I've been driving this car since I turned sixteen and have had absolutely no major problems with it since then. It's fared much better than my friends' cars that are newer and have already had to get a new transmission put in. Another thing that is great is the outstanding gas mileage I get from it. As long as I don't need to get on the highway, I'm easily able to go for a whole month without re-fueling. Only minor problems: Automatic seatbelts (dangerous) Small oil leak (would cost more to fix than the car is worth) Needs new axle (wear and tear of U-joints, only $60 to fix) Minor physical damage to the body For a car thats 17-18 years old and with 130,000+ miles, it runs great and is extremely reliable in all weather conditions (even ice-sheets on the road).
