1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse Consumer Reviews

I purchased a Base model 1990 Eagle Talon in 1990, which I still own with only 19,000 in 2026. The car was put away in winter under cover. The car came in 3 models base, Middle, and AWD where the back wheels also turned when cornering. The Base modelI own is 2 tone color Black Cherry solid body with a black hard top. The car being basic is 2.0 16 valve. The car differs that it has roll up windows, no air conditioning, an AM/FM Cassette radio, no fog lights, no rear window wiper, only front wheel drive, It does have power adjust rear view mirrors. The car was a head turner with its hood hump and the pop up headlights, the back of the car change in the 1993 model to a more rounder design. The car was available as a Mitsubishi Eclipse, or a Plymouth Laser. The car was also only 2 door with a hatchback, and came with a full size spare tire.

It's a great first car. It's reliable and comfortable.

I have been driving this car since I was 15 and am still driving today. We have had this car for almost 17 years and it has been the most realiable car we have ever had.

very quick, good safe car and all the above except it has no cup holders

this is my 1st car i ever had and it was given to me from my mom as a present but the only problem was it was never taken care of and was in poor condtion so i had to do the best i can with it and i put a lot of money and time into it until the tranny and engine went around 90k (stop and go city traffic because it was mostly a city car so that i am very impressed by) then by the time something was fixed another thing fell apart so i finally traded it in 06' for my 2nd vehicle but it was very good on gas and had i believe a 13 gallon tank so that wasnt too bad and also it had a nice style and body to it from what i think the best eclipse design ever lol

This car was so fun to drive...AWD, turbo charger...I loved it. However, it was the biggest piece of cr*p I ever owned. The turbo charger had to be replaced before the car hit 89K then the car continued to burn oil after that. I finally traded it in after it began leaking oil (around 105K). I bought it used (it had 75K on it). It should not have been in as bad of shape- the previous owner took care of it. Bottom line: it was a lemon.

its a nice looking car the engine and interior is very clean and well kept for being a 93
