Positive Review
When I drove the Eclipse Cross I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the interior was. With creature comforts like dual zone climate control, heated seats and steering wheel, and even a heated back bench, the car didnt lack in competing with other similar makes/models for the interior feel. The engine was surprisingly responsive, even being a 1.5T CVT. That being said, if you can handle having the CVT than this car gives you enough power to play with and doesnt feel like youre drowning the engine when pressing the accelerator like it does in the under powered Outlander Sport. The HUD on the car looks and works great, just as the premium Rockford Fosgate speakers do. It has generous amounts of storage and gives multiple options for tonneau placements. Its a great sporty compact suv especially with is MSRP and brilliant red color option. Great handling and a very comfortable car. The only downsides I had was that if youre a taller person (over about 6) it can feel a little small, especially in the passenger seat.

Pretty car
Zero pickup for highways
I drove the Mitsubishi Outlander for 7 years for 165K miles and loved it. I wanted a new one but at $48,000 a bit overpriced. I chose the Eclipse Cross as a more affordable option. The warranty is great! The two Mitsubishi dealers closet to me have closed. I have to travel a bit to get things covered that are under warranty. This car is pretty. I love the red color. However, It has ZERO pick up to get on the highway. I do a lot of driving and this is a bit of a problem As others stated It a bit loud. It took me a bit to find the sweet spot for the positioning of the steering heel and front seat to see the dashboard and be comfortable. My advice, when test driving try and get to a highway.
Looks good
Safety features are awful power is not great
Safety features suck. The lane departure warning is just a light that comes on with a beep on the dash that you can barely hear especially if the radio is on. Be careful of the distance setting for the car in front of you. The vehicle will not slow down and IF there is a warning it will only be a light and a beep that you can barely hear on the dash. The reverse camera is not clear. Space is a little bit more than the Encore I had. If you have a heavy foot the gas mileage is not all that great. I use the Econo mode a lot and it doesn’t seem any different than regular mode. The driving power is not great. Vehicle looks great. The safety features are my major hang up. They make it sound great until your first time using it and you get right on someone tail when you realize the vehicle isn’t going to slow down. I was expecting a lot better with the safety features for a 2024. Needless to say this is my first and last Mitsubishi.
Comfortable, great gas mileage, runs amazing and great price— best car ever!! It’s a luxury car that is not considered a luxury car. Awesome!
Gas mileage, looks,comfort,affordable
We upgraded from a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and an upgrade is exactly what we got. Beautiful vehicle. Clean, uncluttered and comfortable interior. We get excellent gas mileage. Right now Mitsy averages 33.4mpg. About a 60/40 mix highway/city. The S-AWD is amazing and standard on 2023 models. Dont listen to the haters. Our Outlander has the generic AWD system and it works great. This vehicle has an excellent warranty as well. Save yourself thousands. Buy a Mitsubishi Eclipse or Outlander Sport. We love and swear by ours.
Nice looking SUV.
Needs more power, Gas milage not the best in the c
It's a good small cross over with some nice styling. Gas mileage is ok but not the best in it's class. Horsepower is a joke , I really wish they made it a 2.0 and gave it a little bit of a bigger turbo. Mitsubishi's AWD for the eclipse is not really it's signature AWD from the evo or others in the past which is disappointing. The eclipse name is kinda trashed on by this SUV. Overall I like how Mitsubishi is doing with the styling . I think they really need to focus on the I interior and engine.
Previously I had a Honda CR-V that was 10 years old. I bought a 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and was pleasantly surprised that it's gas mileage is a lot better than the CR-V. I've got as high as 34.4 mpg. I love it!
Great vehicle and very reliable. I've had the SUV for over a year and it's great to drive and travel in
Easy comfortable
A smaller suv
I am an Audi owner. I’ve been driving the cross for a few years. Just sold it had to buy a Q5..wrong move. The audi is great…but should be for twice the cost. I’m 6’3 240. Plenty of comfort. Not all the bells and whistles tech wise…that’s a positive for me. Reverse camera is poor. Good to excellent mileage. Plenty of power for suburban travel. Took it for a 2000 mile trip last summer …it was fine…two people two dogs…someone commented about the eye sight internally…it’s not great seeing speedometer etc…but a nice vehicle…I will miss it
