Positive Review
I bought this car from my good friends last winter right before the weather got really bad. At the time I was walking every day to my job and getting this car was a life saver. This car has been through many harsh winters and has never had any problems. With only 87,500 miles this car has a long life ahead of it. It has a new battery, starter, and brake pads/rotors all replaced this last year with paperwork to prove it. It also has front tires that are 3 months old with a 40,000 mile warranty! It runs strong, especially on the freeway. Just drove to Cleveland and back! Please call/text if interested.
Critical Review
I have owned two '99 sables. one was perfect through 150,000 till I sold it, and the other had a transmission problem at 115,000 miles. 2nd gear started shifting hard. Headlight lens get dull and work poorly. other than that I like the car.

zippy, steering is smooth,
headlight aredim, push down an inch b4 brakes work
my great grandmother bought it new off the lot and put 30,000 miles on it and the quit driving. it sat for a few years in her garage and then my dad inherited it. He then put on another 100,000 miles on it and then got an 04 expedition. I got it and just had to replace the brakes and resurface the rotors. After that then it was good to go. My radio antennae is broken but thats about $100 fix. overall shes a zippy little thing and a great first car if your kid want to race but you want them to be safe.
Safe, Reliable, Inexpensive
NONE
This was my very first car. It had been through heck and back before I had inherited it. She treated me well while I was learning to drive. the car never broke down on me. The interior was next to indestructible. I still miss this car to this day, I wish I didnt sell her!
Comfortable, Good Gas, Affordable, Bench Seat
Cassett Tape, Slow Acceleration, Electrical Issues
I have been driving this car for over 2 years now. It was my first car and I love it. I have become very comfortable driving it. This car is good for driving around town (not for driving extended miles). There are electrical issues with mine (interior lights flicker, windshield wipers go off randomly, and my gas gauge bounces when it hits a quarter of a tank). Previously bought from older folks who kept it sitting in the garage. Replaced 3k worth over the 2 year span (all original parts replaced). Overall, I love my car, it's comfortable, and it's extremely durable.
Fun car looks great when washed.
Great high school and college car.
Needs a new AC compressor. All else fits Very Good condition category. Only 80,000 miles.
decent MPG. good for young drivers and ladies.
brakes and minor eng work needed
Needs brakes and light engine work to pass emissions test. (engine works well, starts easy, works well) engine light comes on. Minor work needed. 1 rust spot to fix.
starts, stops and accelerates like new
none
Best car we have ever owned - still used as a backup vehicle still going strong - runs like new
Low price, low mileage, new battery, starter
Center console does not light up
