Positive Review
Bought this car in 1996 as a two year old with 21000 miles. Since then, I've put on over 160000 miles with very little gone wrong, such as heater core, a couple of leaks, two fuel pumps and a recall for the front sub frame bolts.Very comfortable seats, great 3.8 V-6 engine and smooth automatic box. Cannot complain about it; was way ahead of it's time back then. It also survived getting hit by an oil truck and being sideswiped by a red light/stop sign runner.
Critical Review
For this year of car and with 100,000 miles on it as long as there are no mechanical problems the car is awesome. Especially for a first car or something cheap to drive in. The steering is smooth, and ride is very comfortable. Make sure that the tie-rod's are in good shape if they have not been replaced by this time. Overall its a good car to own for under $2k.

Comfortable handling and suspension
High overhead for longevity
If you're going to buy this car in 2023, I'll tell you one thing. Change all of the fluids before considering this to be a daily driver that entails transmission fluid, coolant, power steering fluid, brake fluid and motor oil. Take care of any leaks and replace the brake lines. If the car was a barn find of course, common issue with the car is the front lower control arms giving up the ghost because of the boots on the balljoints tend to wither with age. Change distributor cap, rotor and spark plugs including coil and cables. Expect to sink about $700 to make this car right. If you catch a sale at your local midas or carx on suspension, get all the shocks done and expect to pay another $300.00 for the work. With all aside of the expectations, this has been quite the car. On with the goodies, The bench seat will transform your road trip experiences as it has plenty of room to relax and enjoy the open road with a wide; distraction free windshield without the blindspots you encounter with newer vehicles. The suspension follows suit of prior cars of this era, suspension tends to be rather mellow, corners quite sporty. Smooth ride albeit, the suspension isn't air or liquid ride type. Its' not made to go fast, although it does have some giddyup.... With the stock radio, you'll be pretty bored with the AM/FM/Cassette although a cigarette lighter BT transmitter will make this better or you can opt to upgrade the radio with better capability such as XM radio with bluetooth handsfree. I went all out with a set of speakers and a decent head unit. So far the odometer had rolled over, with over 127k, this car has been a workhorse encountering many road trips ahead.
Will never let you down
interior pieces are starting to get old
This car has been an integral part of my family's lives. From going to work/school, shopping, and traveling, this car has never once left us stranded. My parents took me to elementary school in that car and it's now taking me to university!!
It was just your basic car with great reliability
Was not the prettiest vehicle out there
This car is a trouper, it’s been across the United Stated. All it wanted was gasoline and a destination, it was one of the most reliable vehicles even as it got older

Smooth ride
Glue holding head liner and leather on door panels
Inherited this vehicle from my parents and absolutely love it. It drives like riding on a cloud! Good gas mileage! Very sleek looking! Had the windows professionally tinted and new tires put on it. I’m styling now!

41,517 org miles on it one owner my moms car
Powerful 3.8, reliable car with a solid build
I don't love the dash layout. Prefer the taurus
I bout this car because my 2014 sho got rear ended and totalled. I bought this temporary because I'm gonna custom order a new sho but that's gonna take time. I have a 1995 Ford Taurus se I could use but the odo reads 400,00+ and I also have a 2014 mustang but it's really uncomfortable. I like this sable a lot. I prefer the looks of the second gen taurus over this but it's nice, it's reliable its comfy and it's kinda futuristic, it has a digital gauge assembly instead of analog meters. It's got a center console like my older taurus and leather seats, got it for 1800 which isn't bad. Not the prettiest but it's durable. On,y keeping it temp tho. As soon as the new taurus comes in its gone
Fun to drive, more space than it looks like.
Poor mileage when I hammer down.
Still driving it! I've put 40,000 miles on it in almost exactly two years and it still runs great. I bought it at about 150,000 and I'm up to 190,000. It's as comfortable as I could ask for and has a solid engine. No big problems with it other than routine maintenance, such as brakes and tires. Would highly recommend. The speakers aren't that bad either, especially for a '95.
