I've owned this vehicle for about a month. The one that I purchased has many upgrades, bringing the purchase price to just under $50K. I looked for a long time, (BMW, GMC, Audi), but this seemed to be the best value for the money. So far, I think it's the best vehicle purchase decision that I've ever made. Though I wasn't looking for quite as many options as I wound up with, and the learning curve for the dozens of functions is a bit steep, it's truly a great car. I thought I would purchase either a BMW or Infiniti as I have owned both and have been very satisfied with them. But I'm glad that I made the switch to Mercedes.
Critical Review
For those of you looking for amazing customer experiences and high-quality vehicles, for your own good, look anywhere else but here. I’ve been dealing with Star Motors for over a year now after I purchased a GLC 63s at almost $120,000 from this location. Brand new, fresh and clean, and at 4000Kms it was back in the shop. The car looked marvellous in the show room, but dreadful on the road. If you were to press the gas, it would furiously jerk forward and backward until you’d let go. Instead of Star Motors attempting to resolve the issue, Patrick Picard (AMG Specialist) accused me of putting “bad gas” in the vehicle. Because I am in business, I keep all my receipts that show that this is a completely false accusation in attempt to push the blame on the client. Numerous times have I brought this 6 figure lemon in and leaving it with the dealership for a week or more. This last episode, the dealership has had my car for over 7 weeks now and still no resolution in sight. No apologies, no explanations, no resolve, just excuses and accusations, but still no results. Currently, after only 1 year of having the vehicle, they have stated that my car is worth $60,000 for a trade in. I don’t understand where this depreciation rate of 50% comes from and I am disgusted with the lack of empathy and the lack of resolve on the part of Mercedes and Star motors to settle this issue. Now, they are offering that I pay an additional $35,000 to get into a different vehicle, same year, same model, just without all the mechanical issues... possibly. In my opinion, Star motors has absolutely no understanding of the needs of a customer, nor do they care about them. Here are the names of those I have dealt with; Adam Asiri (development manager), Gordie Tam (Service Manager), and Patrick Picard (AMG Specialiast). For those of you who are still reading to this part, I promise you, I am a very easy going client to have. I will always understand that problems can arise when doing business. However, Star Motors gives ZERO about the $120,000 lemon they’ve given me. I wish you all the best in finding the right car for you. But, do yourself a huge favour and DO NOT purchase a thing from these guys. I strongly advise you to check out Porsche as my wife has one and receives exceptional service, or Audi as my son has one and has received amazing service as well.

We got our certified preowned 2016 GLC in 2019 with only 22000 miles on it. Ill start with the Mercedes dealer. Hands down the best experience I have ever had buying a car. I lived in California when I found the vehicle in New Hampshire. We were moving there in a month. I asked them how much they wanted down to hold it and they simply replied “nothing the car is yours when you get here!” I thought it would be sold by then like most other dealers but nope it was clean and ready for me. They were overly friendly and made the entire process smooth. The vehicle is now ten years old and has about 115000 miles on it. Ownership costs have not been as bad as I figured. If you do continue to go to the dealership of course its more expensive for basic maintenance like oil changes and such but major work is about the same as any small shops qualified to work on Mercedes. So far (besides basic maintenance like oil changes, fluids and filters etc…) we have had to have front and back brakes done, both lower ball joints replaced and a sensor replaced. Dont remeber what one, but it cost about 1k to have done. We had some codes recently that the mercedes dealer fixed with a software update thankfully, because it would have cost a small fortune to fix it if the two issues were truly broken. The heated and cooled seats are amazing. All electronic functions like radio, gps, lighting, seats and such all function same as new still. Engine still runs strong and transmission shifts smooth. Id say total cost we have paid for all work including tires and regular maintenance is around 8000 dollars. Considering tires are about 3 thousand of that its not too bad. I mean it is a luxury brand so expect it to cost more than owning a non luxury brand. Also our dealer will come and pick up the vehicle for maintenance and leave you with a nice new loaner free of charge, obviously a great way to get you to fall in love with a new one, and it works. We are now looking at getting a 2026 model. Keeping our 2016 as a daily driver. Overall, in my experience, the vehicle is amazing. Drives beautiful and handles great. Its very quiet inside and braking is excellent. Well worth the money!
Super comfortable and classy
Yet to find any
I bought 2019 used car Glc formative suv so far on 3 month no issue ride is super comfortable it feels , drives great
30,000 MILES AND NOT A SINGLE SERVICE OTHER THAN NORMAL 'A' AND 'B' SERVICE. THE RUN FLAT TIRES JUST GOT REPLACED AND WE WERE SURPRISED THAT THEY DID NOT LAST A BIT LONGER BUT THEY WERE OVER 7 YEARS OLD

Unreliable poor dealer and corporate service
Mercedes has earned their low scores for poor quality, reliability, and customer service. All you need to do is look at the depreciation on their vehicles to confirm this. Had a 2021 amg43 glc with less than 25,000 miles still under new owner warranty that had a constant no start issue in cold weather. Vehicle was towed to dealership FIVE times for the problem and was told no issues with the vehicle. The fifth time it was towed we told the dealership to keep the vehicle until it was fixed. One month later was told to pick up the vehicle which was brought in covered in 6 inches of snow and ice, so obviously they did nothing. Contacted Mercedes corporate they apologized went through the motions of being concerned and said the vehicle is perfect. Completely understand that even a good model can have the occasional lemon and that a quality manufacturer would fix the issue, but Mercedes does not view it that way. Took the hit on the depreciation, which was Maserati like, and traded for a Porsche Cayenne which has been flawless and never looked back. Much better ride, better quality and better dealer service, in fact Mercedes is not even close. Feels great not to be stranded in parking lots waiting for tow trucks or leaving the vehicle in my garage on a Mercedes trickle charger. BTW, two of the tow truck drivers said the number one manufacturer they get calls to tow are Mercedes.
Still drives new despite being a 2016 with 40k miles. Handles very well, lots of power and has been very reliable for us. One set of tires, and regular oil changes is all we have done. Great car and will will drive it for many years to come.
This car is awesome, however not perfect. I took it on a 6 hour road trip and no matter how I adjusted the seats, it is not very comfortable. the 4 wheel drive system is amazing, and the fuel economy wasn't too bad. Some of the repairs were extremely expensive, so you need to be prepared for that. I have had over 5 other kinds of cars in my day, and that car is more pricey for everyday life than most. You have to put premium gas into it too. If you are set on getting this car, get a warranty, even an after market. you will need it. they are a tad more finnicky than most American cars, but you are paying for class, and luxury.
This car is beautiful and is fast and reliable. It drives smoothly and has great handling power. It has excellent leg room for passengers in the back seat (much more than our Range Rover sport). It is a classy vehicle.
It looks nice, more comfortable than Audi, BMW -X3
Reliability, Seems to not be expected build qualit
My wife won’t Drive anything's but Mercedes and I like SUV’s so we got a 2021 GLG. Now 2 cylinders just failed along with the coil. The dealer said the 20’s and 21’s have bad heads and the coil housing are such bad plastic housing they can’t handle the firing. It was fixed under warranty but they recommended the extended warranty, that’s bad new for car less than 3 years old
