I picked up this car the day after thanksgiving and I can happily say I am thrilled with my purchase. This truck is AWESOME. There is nothing on the road other then the 130K G wagon that compares to it. The styling is exceptional. As for the car, you feel like your sitting in a vault. The interior styling, fit, and finish is class leading. I love all the tech and knock on wood I haven't yet had any issues. Ride quality, even with the off road tires, is excellent, and I love the fact that at a moments notice you could trek through the forest without a concern. This was purchased as a family travel car/adventure car/poor weather machine. However my wife who daily drives a Porsche Macan has all but forgotten about her fun little SUV and has laid claim to this has her daily driver. The kids love it and it comfortably fits two car seats in the second row with plenty of room in the middle seat. Having had many different mid sized and full sized SUVs in the past, I truly feel this is the best out of the box currently offered. I would strongly recommend this SUV to anyone looking for the coolest, most entertaining family SUV on the market.

I have owned this car for three weeks. Terrible wind noise. Errors keep popping up over the infotainment system. Low coolant on main dash. Several doors rattle. Stiff ride and uncomfortable seats. Upgraded Meridian sound system is horrible, I have a headache after 20 minutes of listening. If you slide the panoramic roof back the noise makes conversation impossible. Buffeting is insane. Very poor design. Avoid this vehicle.

I have had two Defenders. 2023 and 2024 both P-400’s, Each one has had issues with the tablet blacking out. I traded in the first one after it happened 4 times. I now have 700 miles on the 2024 and sure enough it happened again. I love the vehicle but Land Rover needs to take care of this. I’m going to give the 2024 a little more time. If it fails again I will be done with this brand forever. The dealer has done everything possible to fix and is extremely helpful but it’s a bigger problem and the company needs to rectify the issue,
This is my second Defender. I bought a 2020 model when Land Rover launched the new model. It was a great vehicle and I traded it for a 2024 model after 70,000 trouble free miles. The Defender is the perfect size for me with lots of head room throughout the interior. It drives well and is very sure footed in winter weather as well as rain. I have the P400 engine and use it to tow a 27 foot boat that reaches near the top of the tow rating. This thing is a beast towing. My wife has a GMC Yukon and I can honestly say the Defender tows better than the GMC with the 6.2L engine.
Styling, features, uniqueness, personalization
Price, no normal driving mode
All other poor reviews have valid points and are correct. The seats are uncomfortable, there is a remote shut off switch that police can use starting in 2026, wind noise is pretty bad, app only remote start is unreliable. My older $40k ford “base” work truck has higher quality seats and remote start. It is a crime that they released this model with a comfort only driving mode, if I can afford a LR I should be able to have full control over the gas pedal. Aftermarket fixed all these issues and I now will never own another vehicle other than this. It is just such a fun car to drive and personalize. I have 50k miles on mine with zero issues, I highly recommend giving Defender a try.
Land Rover have done an incredible job reimagining a legendary off roader with the new defender v8. Awesome engine, 500+ HP, excellent road manners, incredible go anywhere off road capability, top class interiors, the best tech ever and great looking reimagined standout exterior!
Great overall Land Rover. Proven V8 engine in a great looking design with awesome technology & luxury interiors. Very conformant ride quality, great control & visibility and an incredible exhaust sound. Just finished 13k miles, not had any issues whatsoever. Best defender v8 ever! Love it!

Most rugged sexiest SUV out there , capable of anything , had the cayenne , Gle, x5 , x7, RR, RR sport and nothing compares to this HOT v8 carpathian BEAST! , sorry G wagon your way way overpriced .
