I am just turning 70 with some physical problems like sciatica and lower back pain. I am about 5'6"tall. I have been looking for a small hatchback for about a year and test drove about 8-9 cars that fit the bill. For ME the priorities were 1. Seat comfort 2. Ability to see over stearing wheel 3. Roominess for errands at home lumber stores, etc 4. Clearance off the ground---ie. some cars hit curb when parking 5. Fun to drive 6. Last but not least: price under $25k There are a number of cars that have better gas mileage and equal roominess, but only one other of them had seats with power assisted drivers seat and lumbar support because they cater to a younger crowd. Kia hit the mark with this car for my age group as well as younger with all the cool technology. It is easy to get in and out of, is peppy enough to pass if needed, has plenty of room, tight enough handling and VERY comfortable. Could have a little better gas milage, but not the make or break feature for me. The warranty is great as well. I love this car every time I get in it!

Critical Review
The engine on my 2017 Kia Soul + seized. All of my maintenance was up to date. The Kia service department wants to charge me $6,000 for repairs. I am the second owner of the vehicle. Kia won't back their own product. There is no warranty coverage. So now I have an expressive lump of metal... Last Kia I will ever buy (was my second).

Vehicle value, Reliable, Comfortable seats
Fantastic vehicle, pretty sporty. Fun to drive, good affordability price range. Reliable, fuel mileage and the performance is good. Comfort seating, plenty of room space.. Good handling suspension even in the winter season as I do use studded tires. Overall vehicle is thumbs up :))
Strong reliable vehicle, value, performance
I, have to admit, these are really nice cars. They get pretty good gas mileage, definitely a lower cost for service maintenance. Fun to drive, styling exterior. The interior is well designed with comfortable seats. Quality is impressive. Nice sounding stereo with navigation plus other apps.

Busy traffic city driving, this car is fantastic. Easy to get around in especially tight parking spots. I, like this car, it has a sleek body design. Comfortable seats and plenty of leg room. These vehicles are fun to drive, and they do have a lower cost for service up keep. Reliable, good resale value, very nice quality, and the performance.
Value Performance Comfort Reliable
Gas prices are getting crazy high right now. I, ended up buying this small car just to get good fuel mileage for my driving distance. This smaller vehicle is pretty cool. Really good reputation, lower cost for maintenance. Comfortable seats heated. Nice sounding stereo system with navigation. Reliable, very nice styling and the quality is impressive. I'm actually enjoying this small car.
Reliable Performance Resale value
Wonderful as can be for being a subcompact size car. Easy going, just fill up the fuel tank and go!! Reliable, very fun to drive and having good gas mileage. Styling exterior, quality interior. Comfort seats, and a nice stereo system.

Fun car to drive around in daily and the fuel mileage is efficient. The resale value is pretty good. Reliability is strong, just keep up on the maintenance. Quality interior, comfortable seats, plenty of space for passengers. I, like the cargo area, and the add on luggage rack for my carrier.

it's a neat car, it's fun to drive. Good performance, fuel mileage, lower service cost. Styling body design, comfortable seats quality is very good. The stereo seems is fun. Having a small size vehicle is nice to have when gas prices are really high.
