I am just turning 70 with some physical problems like sciatica and lower back pain. I am about 5'6"tall. I have been looking for a small hatchback for about a year and test drove about 8-9 cars that fit the bill. For ME the priorities were 1. Seat comfort 2. Ability to see over stearing wheel 3. Roominess for errands at home lumber stores, etc 4. Clearance off the ground---ie. some cars hit curb when parking 5. Fun to drive 6. Last but not least: price under $25k There are a number of cars that have better gas mileage and equal roominess, but only one other of them had seats with power assisted drivers seat and lumbar support because they cater to a younger crowd. Kia hit the mark with this car for my age group as well as younger with all the cool technology. It is easy to get in and out of, is peppy enough to pass if needed, has plenty of room, tight enough handling and VERY comfortable. Could have a little better gas milage, but not the make or break feature for me. The warranty is great as well. I love this car every time I get in it!

Critical Review
The engine on my 2017 Kia Soul + seized. All of my maintenance was up to date. The Kia service department wants to charge me $6,000 for repairs. I am the second owner of the vehicle. Kia won't back their own product. There is no warranty coverage. So now I have an expressive lump of metal... Last Kia I will ever buy (was my second).

Value, Performance, Styling, Reliability, Quality
Cute car that is fun.. Having a subcompact size car that is actually spacious. The fuel mileage is impressive. The exterior is sporty, and really nice quality interior. Soft leather seats heated. A really easy to use stereo with bluetooth connection. I, like the cargo area, and having a luggage rack. My overall experience dealing with this car is very good.

Reliable car really fun to drive. The fuel mileage is efficient. Pretty spacious vehicle with comfortable seats heated. The quality interior is fancy. Touch screen stereo with navigation. Drive mode selection, I do like the sport mode. The performance is pretty quick for this type of car.

Having a spacious daily driver vehicle is actually nice to have. I, have room for my items, plenty of space for passengers. Head room, leg room. Good gas mileage car, low cost for service up keep. Comfort seating, and a luggage rack on top. Reliable car, really nice quality, styling and the overall value.

Fuel mileage is pretty good. Styling is sharp for being a small subcompact car. The seating is comfortable. Plenty of room space even for the passengers. I, do like the stereo system, it does have some nice apps. The cargo area is spacious for my items. I, do have a full panoramic sunroof pretty cool feature. Lot's to like about these smaller size vehicles.

The entire vehicle is pretty cool.. Styling exterior design. Peppy performance for being a small subcompact car. Comfortable seats heated with a good amount of room space. Very nice handling suspension. Good overall warranty from kia. It's my daily driver, I like having this car.

"Absolutely a keeper" This car I purchased pre-owned clean condition is awesome. The lower cost for service, good gas mileage. Stylish exterior, with quality interior. Comfortable leather heated seats. Touch screen stereo, bluetooth wireless. I, do enjoy driving around in this subcompact car. It's Amazing Fun!!
Value Quality Styling Performance Reliability
Popular choice cars, literally as they are every where. Affordable price range, good gas mileage. The warranty on these cars are very good. Comfort seating, head room, leg room. The stereo is pretty cool, and having a small cargo area. The rear seats fold down for extra space. I, have a luggage rack as well.
In number 2024 a new engine was installed in my car Kia paid for this as it was under warranty. It has radio and cd player. Tires are about 2 yrs old and under warranty
