I am just turning 70 with some physical problems like sciatica and lower back pain. I am about 5'6"tall. I have been looking for a small hatchback for about a year and test drove about 8-9 cars that fit the bill. For ME the priorities were 1. Seat comfort 2. Ability to see over stearing wheel 3. Roominess for errands at home lumber stores, etc 4. Clearance off the ground---ie. some cars hit curb when parking 5. Fun to drive 6. Last but not least: price under $25k There are a number of cars that have better gas mileage and equal roominess, but only one other of them had seats with power assisted drivers seat and lumbar support because they cater to a younger crowd. Kia hit the mark with this car for my age group as well as younger with all the cool technology. It is easy to get in and out of, is peppy enough to pass if needed, has plenty of room, tight enough handling and VERY comfortable. Could have a little better gas milage, but not the make or break feature for me. The warranty is great as well. I love this car every time I get in it!

Critical Review
The engine on my 2017 Kia Soul + seized. All of my maintenance was up to date. The Kia service department wants to charge me $6,000 for repairs. I am the second owner of the vehicle. Kia won't back their own product. There is no warranty coverage. So now I have an expressive lump of metal... Last Kia I will ever buy (was my second).

Good resale value, performance, comfort
Reliable car good performance very fuel efficient. Quality interior, comfortable leather seats heated. I, like the stereo, it does have navigation plus other apps. The cargo area is spacious, and a nice luggage rack. These small cars are really fun, they are affordable and Kia has a good warranty.

I have been really happy with this car. The fuel mileage, affordable service up keep. The styling, pretty good performance. Comfortable seats lot's of room space. I, like the cargo area, and the luggage rack. Strong reliable car, definitely a keeper.

All I can say about these cars, they are awesome!! The fuel mileage, affordable up keep. Good performance, very nice overall ratings. Comfortable seats heated, and a nice stereo system. Reliable car, good quality, and Kia warranty coverage.

This car is actually super fun. Good handling suspension. I, like the performance it has on sport mode. Good gas mileage car. Nice styling body exterior, and really nice quality interior. Leather seats that are really comfortable. A touch screen stereo with lot's of apps. Good safety technology system.

Outstanding 😊 These are really popular cars. They are literally every where.. People seem to like them, because the are affordable. Good gas mileage, low cost service. Comfortable seats and lot's of spacious room. The stereo is super fun, I like the uvo app. Good reliable car, very nice styling, and the quality.

Pretty cool ride, good gas mileage. On the sport mode, the performance is okay, still fun for being a small car. Comfort seating, rear folding down seats for extra cargo space. The stereo is fun, navigation etc. The overall I'm satisfied 💯 No complains!!

They seem to be every where, they do get pretty good fuel mileage. Definitely a lower cost for service upkeep. Peppy engine performance on sport mode. Styling design appearance. Really nice quality interior setup. Comfortable seats plenty of room. Cargo area is spacious, luggage rack.
