I am just turning 70 with some physical problems like sciatica and lower back pain. I am about 5'6"tall. I have been looking for a small hatchback for about a year and test drove about 8-9 cars that fit the bill. For ME the priorities were 1. Seat comfort 2. Ability to see over stearing wheel 3. Roominess for errands at home lumber stores, etc 4. Clearance off the ground---ie. some cars hit curb when parking 5. Fun to drive 6. Last but not least: price under $25k There are a number of cars that have better gas mileage and equal roominess, but only one other of them had seats with power assisted drivers seat and lumbar support because they cater to a younger crowd. Kia hit the mark with this car for my age group as well as younger with all the cool technology. It is easy to get in and out of, is peppy enough to pass if needed, has plenty of room, tight enough handling and VERY comfortable. Could have a little better gas milage, but not the make or break feature for me. The warranty is great as well. I love this car every time I get in it!

Critical Review
The engine on my 2017 Kia Soul + seized. All of my maintenance was up to date. The Kia service department wants to charge me $6,000 for repairs. I am the second owner of the vehicle. Kia won't back their own product. There is no warranty coverage. So now I have an expressive lump of metal... Last Kia I will ever buy (was my second).

Performance Value Comfort Quality Reliable
Smaller size car, very comfortable and the fuel mileage is pretty good. Really nice styling exterior, and the interior. Quality is sharp, and a easy to use stereo with decent speakers. Overall I do feel happy to own this car. It is reliable vehicle, very affordable and fun to drive.

I, like this car, I did get a really good deal on it especially being affordable pre-owned. Plus + model with many nice desirable features for my liking. The ride feels smooth, and the fuel mileage is efficient. This car has comfortable seats plenty of room space. I, like the cargo area, and luggage rack. The only thing I had done was front window tint to math the factory windows. Other than that, it's reliable and very joyful. Good quality, styling :))

The size of this car, and the fuel mileage is pretty good. Comfortable seats, cargo area is roomie. Luggage rack is useful. The stereo is pretty cool. Styling exterior, this vehicle has really nice quality about it. The overall is very good also being reliable.

Supreme design subcompact car. Primo package. Led interior lighting, panoramic sunroof. Comfortable leather seats heated/air cooled plus heated steering wheel. Mood lighting speakers with a touch screen stereo with apps. Sport mode is fun, and the performance is quick enough. So many features to list, overall I'm very satisfied 😀

I am happy to own my this car. Good size vehicles, and it's impressive design. Very nice styling, performance, comfortable seats. Good quality leather, touch screen stereo with navigation etc. The cargo area is spacious for my liking. The suspension is smooth, and good reliability.

Good popularity, fun to drive and having good gas mileage right now helps me being able to get around. I, like the car, very nice styling design. Comfortable seats plenty of room for my passengers. The stereo is good enough. I, do like my car and the suspension feels smooth. I, do not have any concerns. I'm just going to keep what I have until maybe someday I can afford a new car.
