BE CAUTION WHEN LOOKING AT THIS VEHICLE! Driving to work, only the second time I drove my 2023 Kia Sorento EX X-Line, it went limp after trying to accelerate from a stopped position at a stop sign. I thought that was odd, but maybe just a hiccup from it being new. Driving home from work that night, only the third time driving the vehicle, I was stopped at a red light and when it was time to go I accelerated like normal and the car completely turned off on me. The headlights, dash board, computer screen, power, everything turned off while I was driving in the dark at rush hour. I had owned the car for less than 48 hours before heading to the dealership to unwind the deal and return the car. I loved how the Sorento looked inside and out and thought it would be a good car being new, but couldn't risk it happening again. After some research after the fact, I found alot of people have experienced this as well.

We bought this car last week and we love it
great condition
High mileage but I don’t drive a lot
Used AutoTrader online to look for a Kia and it was easy to find what exactly I was looking for. It sent an email to the dealer and within hours someone emailed me regarding the vehicle I was looking for. Set up an appointment an got it within 2 days. Easy & fast!
My 2025 Kia Sorento X-Line SX Prestige is a true beauty, filled with many modern conveniences like heated and cooled seats. A heated steering wheel. Leather seats. An amazing screen. An incredible moon roof. All the cameras needed. A tailgate that will open automatically when approaching it with a shopping cart or your arms loaded. 311 pounds of torque. 281 hp with a turbo engine. It handles well, it is smooth, and has great power. It is elegant and tough looking. AWD. It came with a hitch. I will be adding the cross bars and a carrying metal basket on top. I just love it. It truly is my James Bond car. Luxury at an affordable price. Thank you Kia.
Love my vehicle, but my radio went out in 2 years and it is thousands of dollars to fix. Got out of the car one day the next day the screen was black woth lines at the top. Was told it was an update so bring it to the shop. Turns out that wasn't the issue and had to pay a diagnostic fee. Do not have access to nothing because mostly everything is through the radio. Including not being able to reset oil change light. Back up camera works wonderful though.
I struggled between deciding on a Santa Fe vs a Sorento. I feel like I made a good choice based on the following: * Sorento has lumbar support while Santa Fe doesn't. The Santa Fe has reclining front seats but I don't know when I would ever use those. * Sorento has a spare tire while Santa Fe doesn't * Sorento has a panoramic sunroof while Santa Fe has two smaller sunroofs. * The H theme in the Santa Fe strikes me as silly. The rear end looks horrendous. The Sorento has more of a classic look. The one minor thing that I really wish I had in the Sorrento is the ambient lighting. Why does Europe get it and the US doesn't?
i like it my sorento hybrid make great on long distance trip on slick roads and Icey even though
quiet ride, good gas mileage (for the hybrid), nice screen, does come with a spare tire
Not a dependable car. Poor performance in cold weather, Android auto must be connected with cable. Limited space behind 3rd row
We bought our 2024 Kia Sorento Hybrid in May of 2024. It was bought new from a Kia dealership. Today, it has been driven for a total of 922 miles. Why? because for the last two months it has been sitting at the dealership, pending repairs for codes P198500 and P177600. The codes say transmission, Kia said it was everything else. The problems started when we tried to start the car during a cold night, about 20 degrees. So, for the past nearly 60 days, it has gone to the dealership twice, and it is still there. Kia has not been helpful, and the dealership has not been able to fix it. So, we wait. I noted that other people wrote about mechanical issues with new Kias, and that should have been a flag of warning for us.
My audio went out at 38,000 miles and the warranty only covered uo to 36,000. A great disappointment as I really liked it as our family car. I had to wait two months to get a diagnostic test. This tells me they most likely have a lot of technical failures.
