I had been car shopping for the last 6 months and nothing had really stood out. I liked the Telluride but it just wasn’t practical choice for me as I didn’t need 3 rows. I accidentally stumbled upon the Seltos online and legitimately thought it was a Luxury Brand’s subcompact SUV. It has the styling and appearance of a Range Rover Evoque and compares well to any luxury subcompact. The interior quality isn’t the best, but it isn’t a let down either. I have the SX model, and let me say it is very difficult to find a vehicle with these safety and electronic offerings at this price. The creature comforts are outstanding and work fairly well, Lane Centering leaves something to be desired but does well enough. Cabin noise when driving on the highway is fairly loud, but not overbearing. Performance with the Turbo engine let’s you feel the gains in HP from the standard engine offering, it gives you that boost once you hit the higher RPMs. I’m not a fan of their marketing of it being an off-road vehicle, the transmission overheats fairly easily when pushing the vehicle off-road so if that’s what you’re looking for in a vehicle this isn’t for you. I travel fairly frequently for work and when it comes to a daily driver both city and highway, gas mileage is very impressive. Right around 32mpg on my long trips traveling highway, and about 25mpg in the city. A very very good value buy for anyone in the market for a compact/subcompact SUV.

Back seat comfort
The Mars orange is what attracted me to the car never even looked or considered a seltos was driving 2023 Kia soul GT line which I enjoyed driving but after looking at 2025 Kia seltos x-line I was sold the turbo has some good pep to it and will get out of the way of something need be front seats comfortable rear little to be desired I would not want to be back there for a long trip was surprised the Kia connect is 3 yrs free which was a plus. Overall I enjoyed driving the Vehicle so far will update after I’ve had it for some time.The 4 star is for the back seat not an issue with me but could understand if I had to sit back there
Love this car! I have had this lease for a little over a year and so far it has given me no problems what so ever. So i decided to end the cycle of leasing and buy out my lease. Since my lease was still considered a new car 2025,with low mileage 6,700,the banks can finance out max term 84 months,7 years. This keeps my payments kinda low around $450 a month and that is a win,win!

No sensor for the tailgate.
I purchased my Seltos 2 yrs ago mostly for the turbo feature. A light tap on the accelerator and this puppy punches up to 60 mph fast! 4 doors for convenience. The ONE negative is that it doesnt have the automatic tailgate sensor so that I can open it with my foot.

My wife saw the 2024 Kia Seltos SX in the two tone Pluton Blue. She asked me to sell my truck and got me this as a gift. It is a great looking car. With the turbo engine, it is very peppy, really. Once the turbo kicks in, it can move. Due to being a subcompact, it is very easy to maneuver, complete u-turns, and park. Love the comfort, the interior aesthetics, AWD, etc. I absolutely love this car. Great job, Kia.
Size, mpg, reliable
Perfect commuter vehicle. I got it just for that: not long road trips. I’m old, so for long trips I prefer a more serene, smooth ride. I’m not in it more than an hour or so at a time. Have had for 3 plus years. Average 30-31 mpg over all. It’s the sx turbo because I wanted all the bells and whistles on the top model. This baby has everything.
I am grateful for the Kelley Blue Book website. I had no problems understanding how to complete the form. The site provided everything I needed to make a decision about my car.
