Positive Review
We just made a switch from old gas car to this. I have to say I had my doubts about it but this is just a beast! As we like to call it Blue Beast! It's an expensive SUV but it's a car which you would fall in love with and would love driving it.
Critical Review
I write this to warn other consumers thinking about purchasing a Kia EV. Do not do it. Save yourself the headache. I have a Kia EV and have learned that Kia service centers are wholly incompetent, because Kia has not trained its service centers to repair EVs. So if you run into issues like I did, you can expect to just have your car sitting in at a dealership for an indeterminate amount of time. And good luck getting a loaner; Kia says that's your problem if the dealer doesn't have one readily available. At best, Kia service centers call some tech line where they sit on hold and wait for Kia corporate to explain to them in step-by-step detail how to diagnose and fix an EV. It might take hours between each baby step. The tech line tickets can “time out,” in which case the service center has to completely start over. So despite broadly advertising an "industry-leading warranty," their service centers can't even honor the warranty. Kia has not trained any of them to do so. Many times, waiting on hold with the tech line leads to nothing, so then Kia has to literally fly in a "field technician" to look at your car. So you could very well have an appointment, but it will sit there for days or weeks while Kia corporate flies in one of their handful of people presumably capable of fixing an EV. Kia’s advertising explaining how they have exponentially more service centers than other EV companies is completely laughable when you consider their service centers are incompetent. Do not buy a Kia. You will regret it.

Tows our 3500lb trailer like a champ, easily fits our three teenagers and dog, holds up well in snow and rain. It’s an all-around great car! We already had a lev 2 charger in our house (using solar) and we prefer that toy he trickle charger they give you upon sale. People want to know how we like it and I LOVE it!
