l was not eligible for the veterans discount of 500.00. You have to be active duty or retired, I was drafted in 1968 and spent 13 months overseas and I am not eligible. I feel ALL veterans should be eligible for the Chrysler discount.
Critical Review
2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude, here are a few things they hide until its too late to return; They removed the homelink garage door opener- you literally have to have a manual garage door opener. They took much of the cushioning out of the passenger seat- it feels like sitting on a box with fabric. IF you want the upgrade to nicer seats, that's about 5K, IF you want curb and side sensors when parking, that's another 5K. Jeep has turned into the scam of the auto industry. DO NOT BUY ONE

4 years ago the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe Trailhawk listed for $62,000. I've put 10,000 miles on our vehicle and it is now worth on KBB a lousy $23,000. I have "NEVER" been under in a vehicle after paying 4 years on a car loan. The reason this car's value is so low, I can only guess. But I will share my personal experience. I paid a lot of extra money for the 4xe HYBRID so that I could save planet earth some exhaust and some money on paying for as much gas. Guess what? One recall after another, after another, etc., and the "HYBRID" part of my "HYBRID" still does NOT work. You heard it! I paid CDJ a lot of money for a feature on the car that today they STILL have not got it to work properly. And guess what else? This car has SHUT OFF in the middle of me driving it because of some of recall issues. And let me tell you when this car shut off, I mean the ENTIRE POWER shut off. No lights, no break, no power steering, no power breaks... just a complete SUDDEN SHUT DOWN at 50 mph. And so that, my friends, is every effort to slander, but rather share my EXACT FACTUAL experience. And further, CDJ has done NOTHING to pay back all of that "hybrid" money I spent while not being able to use it. And once, right after the 1st time the car shut off on me, I called to ask them to come get it, and they said, you'll need to drive it in. I said did you HEAR ME, that it shut off... flatlined? They were like, you can tow it. So that's what I've been dealing with on this vehicle. And worse part of all of it, besides death-defying stunts on the freeway at 50 mph, besides no apology or comp, is that this 4 year old (once) 62,000 is so far under valued that I cannot trade it nor sell it. So I am STUCK WITH IT!
Excellent vehicle. This is my 3rd Grand Cherokee and I would by another one. Good ride quality, good performance, pretty good gas mileage, 21 - 23 MPG highway.
Power, size, looks, options
None thus far
I have only owned the GC for 1 month but have already but on nearly 3,000 miles, city and highway combined. So far, no issues with anything. It drives extremely nice, great shifts, power is very good, happy to not have a turbo. Got a great deal since it was a left over 2025 in April of 2026. The room and overall layout are great. The size is nice, not huge but not small at all. Fairly well loaded Limited model, so has a great deal of options. Seats are good, supportive and like the heated and cooled from seats. Already towed a small uhaul trailer for 500 miles, no issue whatsoever. It towed like a champ. Gas mileage has been good 21-23MPg not towing. Hopefully as it get's broken in, I will be able to get 25 maybe even 28?
I have owned Honda, Toyota, and Kia SUVs, but my 2025 Laredo x is by far the most bang for my buck. The 3.6 pentastar is a tried and true bulletproof engine with good power and and MPGs for an AWD. Very functional, reliable and comfortable. You can't beat it for $37k brand new with a 60k mile powertrain warranty!
Powerful, comfortable, great ground clearance
Musty smell when new
The only issues we had after buying new was the screen wouldn't always load the left side, and the alarm would sometimes sound when entering the vehicle. Both problems disappeared after a free and short recall visit. We LOVE this Jeep! The dual sunroof, a/c seats, Alpine sound, leather, aluminum wheels, and so much more. It's a true luxury SUV big enough for my 6'2" 235 pound body. I love the 3.6l V6 engine, powerful and it sounds great! Plenty of storage. Fantastic ground clearance!
What a great vehicle. Smooth, quiet drive, . Nice additions with Limited trim. Black appearance package takes look to next level. Like a big screen with user friendly software. Great off raod vehicle, 4x4 best in class handling snow like no other vehicles i drove in the past.
Our Summit has been perfect since purchase 4 months ago . I have owned lots of new vehicles in the past 60 years and none match’s this Jeep . No issues…. None…. Nada . I waited for three years to finally buy this Jeep because of all of the negative reviews on the latest GC . My 2002 and 2014 were very good vehicles each logging 130,000 miles plus before selling them. But they were no match for this edition. Love everything about this Jeep and it exceeds our expections on all fronts .
Great Ride
Liked the older gen dash better
I've had multiple jeep grand Cherokees with no to very little problems. They ride wonderfully the Penistar v6 is a perfect engine for these. Just keep up on your maintenance.
