l was not eligible for the veterans discount of 500.00. You have to be active duty or retired, I was drafted in 1968 and spent 13 months overseas and I am not eligible. I feel ALL veterans should be eligible for the Chrysler discount.
Critical Review
2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude, here are a few things they hide until its too late to return; They removed the homelink garage door opener- you literally have to have a manual garage door opener. They took much of the cushioning out of the passenger seat- it feels like sitting on a box with fabric. IF you want the upgrade to nicer seats, that's about 5K, IF you want curb and side sensors when parking, that's another 5K. Jeep has turned into the scam of the auto industry. DO NOT BUY ONE

2022 4xe Limited with Tech II. I feel for the people who bought them new. However, these vehicles are a bargain in the used market. There are loads of lower mileage vehicles. If you can find one that has all of the recalls done this should be a good SUV. I don't think it matters which year you get either... It helps to get one with warranty remaining, but even with powertrain remaining, I got an extended warranty just in case. I don't keep cars for more than a year, so I will get money back from the warranty if I don't use it. I have loads of experience with various makes and hybrids. While not the best, the Jeep does a good job all the way around. Not rattles, no squeaks. Everything works like it should. The hybrid system is fairly smooth. I like that you can use different modes which helps if you are on longer road trips. You can use the e-save mode to save some electrons when driving long distance. I feel like this also helps the overall mpg. This is not a car you want to drive fast. Anything above 75 mph and you will not be happy with the mpg. I just took a 250 mile trip with a full charge. I averaged 27 mpg mostly highway driving around 70 mph. I used the electric only for in-town driving. All together my first tank at 356 miles averaged 32 mpg with 3 charges. That's good enough for me. During the week I commute 32 miles total a day. I charge every other day and use the engine for highway use. This is exactly how BMW manages their PHEV hybrid system.... Except BMW does all of this without driver input. Is the Jeep smooth like BMW?..no. But a used X5 similar year still costs $40k or more.... As for the tech in the Jeep. So far so good. I like the infotainment system very much. The sound is good and it's very intuitive. The front seats are comfortable and the back seat is fine. The leather is nice but slippery. I wish there were more of the tan color seats out there.... though black looks good enough. I can't complain so far. I'm glad I waited to buy one of these until now. This could be the bargain of the century if these end up holding up after all of the fixes.
super comfortable to drive
not built to be a sports car
Without question, when compared with BMW's, Mercedes, and Porsches that I have owned, the Jeep is the best when measured by value and reliability. The car is purpose built and does as advertised - it is not a sports car. It drives beautifully. It is safe. It delivers decent fuel economy. And the Summit offers an extremely comfortable driving experience.
great car excellent condition 2025 jeep grand cherokee limited all the extras black incolor leather double moonroof/sun roof
hAVE TO GET MY Lexus CROSSOVER. GAR TO HIGH FROM THE PAVEMENT MY WIFE CAN BARELY CLIME INTO THE CAR SINCE SHE HAS HAD HERE OPERATION FORM BACK AND LEG ISSUES.
This is my 6th JGC. Love the Hurricane's power and gas mileage!! Little jerky at low speed, but overall great. (Typical turbo lag....). Vehicle size, gas mileage, visibility, spaciousness, power, value etc, beat the competitors.
This 2025 is the best yet but the 2002 and 2014 were also solid buys. All three had 4x4 Quadra track and were/ are excellent in foul weather. The 2025 is now 9 months old and has had zero issues. I still own all these trucks that I bought new . The 2002 has 200000 miles with no drive train issues , the 2014 has 130000 miles with zero drivetrain issues . The 2025 Summit is very luxurious . The 1000 watt stereo is a monster . The interior is absolutely gorgeous. So far I have averaged 20 mpg in 9 months of varied driving . Bottom line… a beautiful vehicle so far .
4 years ago the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe Trailhawk listed for $62,000. I've put 10,000 miles on our vehicle and it is now worth on KBB a lousy $23,000. I have "NEVER" been under in a vehicle after paying 4 years on a car loan. The reason this car's value is so low, I can only guess. But I will share my personal experience. I paid a lot of extra money for the 4xe HYBRID so that I could save planet earth some exhaust and some money on paying for as much gas. Guess what? One recall after another, after another, etc., and the "HYBRID" part of my "HYBRID" still does NOT work. You heard it! I paid CDJ a lot of money for a feature on the car that today they STILL have not got it to work properly. And guess what else? This car has SHUT OFF in the middle of me driving it because of some of recall issues. And let me tell you when this car shut off, I mean the ENTIRE POWER shut off. No lights, no break, no power steering, no power breaks... just a complete SUDDEN SHUT DOWN at 50 mph. And so that, my friends, is every effort to slander, but rather share my EXACT FACTUAL experience. And further, CDJ has done NOTHING to pay back all of that "hybrid" money I spent while not being able to use it. And once, right after the 1st time the car shut off on me, I called to ask them to come get it, and they said, you'll need to drive it in. I said did you HEAR ME, that it shut off... flatlined? They were like, you can tow it. So that's what I've been dealing with on this vehicle. And worse part of all of it, besides death-defying stunts on the freeway at 50 mph, besides no apology or comp, is that this 4 year old (once) 62,000 is so far under valued that I cannot trade it nor sell it. So I am STUCK WITH IT!
Excellent vehicle. This is my 3rd Grand Cherokee and I would by another one. Good ride quality, good performance, pretty good gas mileage, 21 - 23 MPG highway.
