It delivers efficient fuel economy and affordable maintenance costs, as well as capable off-road performance, especially in the Trailhawk trim. Positive Review

"I'm leaving a good feedback 😃"

Fantastic, good reliability, the performance is quick enough. Fuel mileage is efficient along with the lower cost maintenance. The interior design is very nice, comfortable seats heated. Cargo area is roomie for my items. The stereo is fun, apple car play navigation and other apps. Luggage rack, towing capacity rating is good.

Critical Review

"Jeep Compass-Great Technology/Terrible Cargo Area"

This car has a wonderful base technology package with additional options available however I was surprised to discover that the Trunk Cargo area has an Undetermined weight limitation. Because the Cargo Cover has 3 positions, 2 of which are not properly supported - You can easily break the support mounts with everyday use such as Grocery Shopping. Based upon this poor design and Jeeps denial of responsibility to communicate to potential buyers, I regrettably have to recommend any other vehicle.

Stay away from the 9 speed transmission
Cons

Transmission, Safety technology is slow

2019-2022.. The 9 speed transmission problems in these vehicles. 2023 jeep upgrades the transmission to 8 speed that is much better than the older models. This jeep compass also has other issues. I, would not recommend these vehicles, over priced and the value doesn't hold. Don't let yourself become head under water into a auto loan and dealing with high cost service repairs.

Will never buy another jeep

This is my third jeep that I’ve owned. I’ve never had so many ridiculous issues with a car in general. Screen completely went out at 50k miles. Transmission is now out at 58k miles. Jeep warranty won’t cover it even though it’s still under original powertrain warranty. Don’t waste your time and money unless you want a hunk of junk.

would not buy again

My Jeep Compass I purchased brand new. It has a rougher ride than I would like and there was a problem with the steering column. At first the front crash sensor would not work and the light remained on even when I took it the dealer I purchased it from. It would go off after I took it in for service but the sensor would go on again. I took it to a dealership near my house when the sensor and the side lane management sensors did not work correctly. I was told it was fixed and a day later I still had problems. Next, the bright lights would not go on so once again I took it to the dealership to get fixed. This time they figured out that something in the steering column did not work. They ordered the part and I got it put in and when I left everything worked correctly. I am crossing my fingers. I am thankful, though, that all these service calls and parts were covered. Another disappointment is the antenna. My radio goes out at the least amount of tree coverage and when I go under an underpass. I can understand a tunnel. I have had no other vehicle lose service so often. I ride in our other car and at the same places and it does not lose antenna service.

Not the worst but too early to tell
Pros

Affordable 4x4

Cons

A CDJR product. 'Nuff said.

I bought this 2024 Jeep Compass brand new and it has been an okay car. It's had some glitches with the electrical system including random dash ding sounds with no stored message, random error lights that go away, and worst of all the car has hesitant acceleration when the auto stop/start is engaged which is always engaged each time you start the car. You have to manually turn it off. When engaged the car has a chug vibe unless you floor it. It has also had the transmission slip in 2nd once with under 15000 miles on it. Good gas mileage though. I like the way it handles on the road and the base package comes with a pretty good amount of bells and whistles. I'm praying the electrical stuff doesn't become an issue along with the transmission over time.

NOTHING BUT FAKE REVIEWS ON KBB

2018-2021 Transmission shifting hard second gear to third, and sometimes a little delayed. I, drove the 2022 model 8 speed and it's much better than the older models being 9 speed. The transmission is a big concern so I ended up trading in the vehicle. The stereo has strange glitches, sometimes it goes blank. The engine has a strange ticking sound. It's also a concern lifters or valves. So, I also realized their is literally many factors here to be concerned about and walking away.

It's fun to drive, good gas mileage. Smooth suspension awd plus drive mode selector. Really nice styling exterior, full good impressions of the interior.
