Positive Review
This car is great on the highway, smooth powerful and very quiet compared to other large SUVs I drove (Escalade, Rover, GL550). Gas mileage is around 14-15 around town and 17-18 on highway. Interior design is beautifully done. 360 degree view cameras are a nessecity on this thing for parking! Parking sensors could be placed better or have centerline sensor added. I went withe 20" wheel package as it drove smoother and quieter than the 22" wheel set up. I lost out on the vented front seats, but is is a better ride.
Critical Review
The vehicle was a 10/10 for the first 10K. Now has developed a clicking in the brake pedal and also a humming noise when braking. Dealers have looked twice and have not been able to fix it. They claim this is the way it is and Infinity does not recommend a replacement of any parts. 75K vehicle and now this is what we get. Not high quality and not acceptable warranty service.

I've owned 2 in my time and with 5 children traveling with this SUV is a pleasure!! I love this QX !!
This is my dream car it's grey big inside look very new tires in good shape inside clean I just think that the miles is high but the company is very nice and the people is so helpful
Best value, lux feel, great performance.
Doesn't come with spinners
OVERALL - Its a great vehicle, smooth ride, lots of power too, esp for the size. The interior is very nice if you buy the upgraded interior packages, not on the same level as a high-end model Mercedes, but very nice and very durable for real world use (esp if you have kids, it can handle the abuse and easy to clean)... GAS MILEAGE - Yes, the gas mileage isn't great, probably could get better mileage if I wasn't always peddle to the floor, but its got 400 naturally aspirated horsepower which are too much fun! No joke I have done 138mph on the highway with mine and for an SUV this size that is insane (and it is actually very stable at that speed). Also, if you are worried about the gas on this car though you probably shouldn't be buying it. Save your money and invest before buying a luxury car, if you don't then you will be worrying about gas forever because you will always be poor. CONCLUSION - Anyways, if its in your budget I think its the best value in its class and some of the best performance for an SUV this size... yes, an Escalade might be a little better in some aspects and overall I would think has an edge on this car, but I would rather spend $90,000 vs $130,000 and do something else with the $40k I save... because I got some money, but guess not enough to not care about an extra $40k ;)
Awesome vehicle drinks gas but had this car 9 months drives like a dream. Has been very reliable, smooth ride, lots of power. The vehicle features are amazing I'm very pleased with my purchase
safety and convenience
fuel economy
This care is a beast and will certainly keep your family safe while loving the ride, comfort, and convenience! Towing boats or packing in riders...this truck is awesome.
First, not economical gas Second, I bought 2021 QX80 a brand new and not a year, the FBrake has problems and customers service told that it is not under factory warranty, and will have anything care about it. The vehicle service department told me that it may happy again. I will so worry about the safe and I have 2 babies with me all time inside the car. I so regret to buy it. So, be careful to have it.
Phenomenal service, Shane Wellman is a great salesperson, will definitely recommend them to friends and family
Extremely FUN to ride long and short trips!!!!!
This review was done in June 2022, so... GAS $
As a previous and loyal owner of FORD/GMC products, I've always been a Lincoln / Cadillac / GMC line fan when it comes to long-trip comfort. However, the QX-80 has excelled those standards to me as a driver. Driving this vehicle with its enormous height and dominance makes you feel special on the road. I've asked the family if they're comfortable in the 2nd and (the only vehicle with a reclining) 3rd row, they all say "yes.... this car is more comfortable than the Navigator". I've also testdriven the 2020 and 2021 Sequoia which cost $15k-20k more than the 2020 QX-80 Lux. The Sequoia seemed smooth; however, the vehicle felt as if it was skating on ice. In my personal experience, the QX80 feels more comfortable and it sticks to the road! Making turns is a breeze with its responsive gripping effects! The 2020 model does offer dual screens which definitely is a huge plus versus its previous models. The vehicle may not offer the latest gadgets (although it seems it has enough gadgets as it is to me), but it is built solid. I admit... the smaller sunroof in such a big beast is a bit odd, but it's something that the family doesn't seem to mind. We have panoramic roofs in other vehicles, and they hardly get used. This vehicle stands equally tall or perhaps a bit taller than a Navigator which is pretty tall onto itself! So for those folks who enjoy the panoramic height on the highway, this vehicle is for you! Noise level is minimal as well unlike Cadillac and LIncoln's. Towing is a breeze with its 8500 lbs capacity which overshadows the biggest competitors by almost 1000 lbs!
