Positive Review
The above said it all. It was quick, handled well, easy to maintain and never a problem beyond normal maintenance. Never knew it was among most popular cars to steal. The only drawback apparently was that many keys also fit it, but never knew that either.
Critical Review
I'm the original owner and it has 218,000 miles,but... - spent rougly $5000 in repairs after warranty - Critical electric switches failed (many times) - Very expensive ($800-900) to replace timing belt, and this is done every 85k miles. - Very expensive to perform brake work. - poor ventilation - car is always hot inside and poor (weak) air conditioning system. Other than that, it always got me home, and ran smooth. In comparison, my Brother's Toyota Camry (same year/mileage) had only $2000 in maintenance after the warranty expired, has cold air conditioning and few problems. Will probably buy Toyota, but they aren't as stylish as the Honda.

Honda engine
Ac not strong
You can’t get better than a 1994 Accord. I don’t even know how many miles I have on it. Odometer stopped working three years back at approx 200k. Just came back from a 23ooo miles round trip. The thing doesn’t even burn oil. My speedometer doesn’t work either. Was running it between 3250-4000 rpm continuously for hours and hours in southern heat. You be the judge.😉
Excellent car
They get stolen very easily
This was a great car before it was stolen in front of my complex, if you do find it I hope it’s good to you too and there wasn’t any major engine or transmission issues I babied the car before the stole it
Im suprised it still drives.
Im pretty sure im missing an engine
Me and other people who drive this car usually have busted windows repaired with duct tape and usually have lots of our belongings in the back.
Best investment
None
I purchased this 1997 Honda Accord LX used in 2000. It was my very first car right out of high school. This 25 yr old car is the best vehicle ever! Barley had any problems with it normal wear and tear for as long as I’ve had it. Has out lived my 2006 Volvo XC90! That poor SUV had quadruple problems compared to the Accord. She has definitely served her purpose and still does. Plan to drive this car till she dies. Speedometer stopped just after it hit three hundred thousand miles. So need to get it fixed but she’s still going strong!
Great gas mileage, strong engine for 4 cylinders
Uncomfortable seats
I bought this car used with 160,000 miles an drove 15,000 miles for deliveries within 3 months. Only needed to change the oil. It's still rocking the original suspension so I'll be replacing those, but even worn out this car feels solid. Love the feel of that transmission shifting smooth like butter
Good MPG highway
Needs TLC, paint job
Dependable. Have driven it 2 years with very little trouble from it. Mostly new tires, alternator belt, normal maintenance type stuff
