"New Standards set in Full-size Luxury SUVs"

The NEW, GM 2015 model Full-size SUVs indeed set new standards in this segment. I ordered out my Yukon Denali and took delivery in June 2014. It currently has about 8000 miles. I have had flawless performance and ZERO recalls or issues. The 6.2L/420HP V-8 is incredible. The fit and finish of this truck is amazing and the list of features is endless. The interior comfort and quietness at highway speed rivals any luxury sedan. In person, I compared the new GM's against the other domestic and import brands in this market. Without any doubts, the structural integrity, interior materials, options and engines were were far superior in the GM lineup. As many predict, I agree that GM will continue to dominate the full-size SUV market! I appreciate the massive 6.2L/420HP V-8 engine with active fuel management which allows me to obtain over 20mpg while cruising at highway speeds. Acceleration, braking and overall response is outstanding for a vehicle this size. I operate my truck in some brutal Wisconsin snow storms, the 4WD system could not be more sure-footed and reliable! Creature comforts like Large-screen Navigation, DVD Entertainment, multiple Media-links, Heated/Cooled leather seats and 12-speaker Bose sound compete head-to-head with the Import Brands, yet you will save $10-15K buying this more solid, domestic truck. Numerous collision avoidance systems and security features are standard, keeping the occupants & truck safe. The 3rd row seat does lack leg room for adults. However, if you routinely plan to carry more than 5 adults, the XL version of this truck certainly addresses this issue very well. I typically never use the 3rd row and suggest keeping those seats folded down to better utilize that space for storage and utility.

"GMC Yukons have severe vibrations"

GMC Yukon less than one year old has severe vibrations at 60-70 mph. Other owners are reporting this as well for GM large SUVs. Check online documentation of the issue. GM has not been able to develop a full proof method to solve the issue. Very frustrating after paying a premium price for this vehicle.

Excellent Quality SUV

My experience with the 2018 GMC Yukon Denali Sport, 6.2, is that it is an amazing machine! Zero Recalls! The powerful 6.2 gas engine is incredible. 5 stars all the way!

Good and Bad

I love this truck. Had a 2015 and was Tboned by a full size pickup truck and walked away from the accident. Purchased this 2017 to replace it and overall it's been a great truck. No issues.... until it hit 100,000 miles.. it now has 104K and I've had to replace all suspension, 1 motor mount, the alternator, oil pump, and front hubs. Have always had the truck meticulously serviced as the same dealership. Headlight was $400 to replace and didn't know they were so expensive until one went out. Over $10K I have put back into this truck to keep it on the road and I've never towed a thing with it. Love the truck but VERY disappointed in the quality.

Great truck
Pros

Compfortability

Cons

Seat belt buzzer if my dog sits up front

With the 6.3 engine it has more power than I will ever need great modern leather! It has 120,0000 mile runs like a top we change the oil regularly and it rides as good as our Cadillac did! It probably needs shocks about now but this has been a great truck!

Do I or don't I trade?
Pros

Amazing comfort, including the heated seats and steering wheel. Rides well. Ease to drive. No problems with engine, etc.

Cons

Larger than an older lady needs, who is now alone!

This vehicle is phenomenal. It drives well, great parking ease with the camera, NEVER any problems with engine, etc. It just is larger than I now need since my husband's sudden passing. A GREAT vehicle. In my mid 60's, and 95 pounds, I don't know that I need one like this anymore. It drives easily/well for me. I simply, I don't need the large vehicle. If you are looking to purchase this type of vehicle, it gets more than the 5 stars. There simply is nothing bad about it!!! If I decide to trade it in, I will be sad ... we had many amazing moments with this, driving from Indiana to California, as well as the regular use for transporting musical instruments to rehearsal, etc., etc. And, I fear the moment I trade it in I suddenly will need a larger vehicle to transport something. This is a tough one ... basically, the best car we owned!

Excellent.

I've read a number of the other reviews and disagree. Vibrations? none. Fixes? None other than standard. Excellent vehicle. Smooth ride. Lots of space. No mechanical issues. I hope to keep it for a long time.

Great Room with Good Ride
Pros

Great safety features. Lots of room for cargo and passengers. Great vehicle for lots of different applications.

Cons

The ride is moderately stiff and there is some wind noise in the car. The mileage runs about 19 MPG on a trip.

I bought the Yukon new in 2019 and have owned it ever since. This is a great car for trips. There are great safety features and lots of cargo room. The ride is a little stiff with moderate wind noise in the cabin.
