Positive Review

"Almost perfect."

Went down from a gas guzzling Tahoe to this one. Very stylish and comfortable. Been to a lot of LONG road trips over the summer. Engine sounds don’t bother me as I personally like the winey high pitched engines. Slow to accelerate but plenty of power to pass someone in traffic. I feel that this is more of a passenger’s car that it just makes my family so comfortable and safe riding this car. Very spacious and airy. GM really did good on this one. This one is not a car to sleep on! Also, no mechanical issues so far. Most reviewers only bother to review when they have had a horrible experience that I think I should add my trouble free experience so that prospective buyers can make a more informed decision.

VS

Critical Review

"All looks, no power"

This vehicle is beautiful inside and out, but beauty is skin deep. The pathetic 4 cylinder engine that GM decided to put in this large, heavy SUV was a huge mistake and disappointment. When you accelerate on the freeway, it whines so loud (like an old four banger) that you think it's going to explode. I also don't believe their claim of 328 hp; this thing is weak and certainly doesn't feel like is has that kind of horsepower. Overpriced and underpowered is not a combination I'm interested in.

Most comfortable vehicle
Pros

Easy viewing all around, very comfortable seating, heating & air is quick to warm or cool vehicle

Cons

none yet

We bought this Acadia 6 months ago. We call it the "PAR" It's rides like a car, and sets up higher than a car and lots of storage like a pick-up bed.

Nice ride

Relly love the ride. Quiet and good gas mileage. Came from a 2022 sierra 1500. So a lot smoother ride and handling is good.

Gutless Gas Hog
Pros

Beautiful Car

Cons

Gutless, terrible gas mileage, loud road and engine noise, prone to repair needs

Make no mistake, this is a beautiful suv. We purchased a 2024 Acadia Denali in July of 2024....5100 miles and traded it in. Fuel economy never got better than 19 highway. I can live with that if I have some power but that was lacking as well. My 2021 F250 gets better mileage. Even when we traded it in, the salesman took it for a spin and commented on how gutless it was. 4700 miles took it back because of a stange noise. Front differential was leaking and slipping. Once fixed the fuel economy seemed to get worse...strange. the noise was gone but some of the similar issues still existed. This is probably the loudest inetrior noise car I have ever driven. The little 4 banger engine just cannot handle the weight of the car and is loud. The interior is beautiful but the position of the AC vents is bad. To cool where you sit you will.also freeze your kneecaps because your knees are right in front of the vent. The infotainment system could easily be about half the size. Kind of dumb to have something that big and bright shining in your face while driving at night. Yes, you can dim it but then you cannot see it during the daytime. We had high hopes for this car. My wife loved the color and style...outside of that, harsh reality was, this thing was a terrible choice. We took a $15k hit on trade in and I have to say...it was money well spent.

Goldie locks off SUV

This SUV had the perfect size, engine, cargo, and towing specs for people who have a family. GM really hit it on the head here. Especially with the Elevation trim. So many standard features, including 12 speaker Bose. Great price, great vehicle. Highly recommend

Pros

Beautiful styling, comfortable interior

Cons

Pathetic 4cyl engine; lots of rattles inside, way overpriced
