So far the hybrid f150 has been great. I've averaged 24mpg in the last 2000 miles. The truck is super fast and has a ton of power with the battery giving it a little boost. I have the Lariat and the technology and leather inside is amazing. Great truck so far, but it does hurt to spend all that money. Only downside for me is the 10 speed transmission... all the f150s with the 10 speed have clunky shifting in the lower gears (1-4)... apparently it's designed to skip around on those gears a lot and can feel annoying.
Critical Review
On Nov 20 I drove my 2021 F150 XLT Hybrid to the Super Market. When I arrived I could not open the drivers door from the inside. I rolled down the window to try and open the door from the outside, it would not open. I got out the passenger door and could only unlock the door with the remote key and the push button keypad. I made an appointment with the Ford dealer. The following day when the weather warmed up everything worked ok. Surprisingly it wasn't because it froze up. Ford dealer found 50701 to update the driver and passenger module (DDMand PDM) to the latest calibration. So they updated it. According to one of the Ford forums many other owners have had the same problem . Seems like new vehicles may be a money eating pit after the warranty expires.

Great Power, Good mpg, comfortable
Priced high, missing items that were standard on the year previous
I love most everything about the truck. The missing 360 camera, Navigation and XM Radio are my only negative things. I had looked at the same model in the 2024 version, and it had all those things in the base package. We ordered my truck from another dealer, and when it got there, those items were missing. I go off grid a lot. It also didn't have remote start without using your phone. I added that in myself. I also added a tailgate shock, for slow opening. Kelley Blue Book also doesn't list all the actual colors this truck comes in. Mine is Marsh Grey. It looks more beige-brown than grey. I get complimented on it all the time. I love the power of this truck. I can get up to 30 mpg going back and forth to work on city streets. I average about 20 mpg on the highway. I have been on some serious mountain roads. The truck performs perfectly. I also love my 7.2 kw generator, which is not on the list for KBB. Not all hybrids have them. I gave it four stars because of the things it is missing. There are a lot more options that KBB is missing in their questionnaire. The dealer has offered me more for my trade in than what KBB is telling me it is worth.
Ride comfort, capabilities with Fx4 package, nice features, tough.
Loses value decently quick, expensive.
I have the powerboost and I have put this truck through hell. With my truck I tow very heavy loads, gone off roading on difficult trails, load heavy material in the bed. I do all of this often. When I’m driving normally the fuel economy is great, the ride is comfortable, and the technology is useful. The only thing I’ve had to fix is the suspension and it wasn’t stock suspension it was fox shocks.
Excellent truck that we trust and love for long-haul road trips, and 4 wheeling in remote places. Rides like a luxury car, much more comfortable than our prior SUV. Great back step feature makes loading easy, navigation system works more reliably than phone-based apps.
I am only selling it because I wanna pull a larger trailer than it is rated for. This is the absolute best Pickup I have ever owned. Has tons of power gives great mileage looks fantastic and has given me zero issues since brand new.
This is hands down the best truck I have ever had. It tows my car hauler, chews up dirt like it’s nothing and keeps my wife comfy. The KBB value is a joke, I would never sell it for even $10k over their under valued idiot number.
- It’s very power powerful and fast with the twin turbo. - the ride is pretty smooth. - the back seat is huge & comfortable. My teen son can sleep like a baby on it! - it has a 10-speed transmission & gets very good gas mileage, occasionally with all freeway miles it will get 19-20 mpg. With a 30.6 gallon gas tank, the truck can get close to 600 miles.
Your listing doesnt give me the ability to add fx4 5.0 engine which greatly changes value , so its not so accurate, when in the listing it never fave the 5.0 motor option?
Very good running and riding truck. Great on mile per gallon. Great horse power. Better than my last tfuck
