Positive Review
Recently traded my 2013 FX4 in to get the new lighter improved Ford F150. Was skeptical on the smaller ecoboost engine but one test drive proved me wrong. Great response on acceleration and averaging 22mpg. Many improvements have been made in just 2 model years over my trade-in. Feel like Ford has invested lots of money for improvements and yet kept the price within range for most consumers
Critical Review
I have been a FORD person for many years and I hate to say quality is more than just pretty paint and looks. I purchased the 2015 F150 X L T (DOB 12-14), 5.0 engine (the engine is one of the best made), the dash is made of thin plastic (tap dash sounds hollow) and had a huge dip(about 8" long) in the dash on passenger side next to windshield, steering wheel feels cheap, arm rest on door has cheap vinyl covering it, the exterior sheet metal of this vehicle is terrible, had a friend ask me why the side of the truck was so wavy, none of the doors lined up, drivers side the rear door was higher than the front and the passenger side the rear door was pushed to far in at the top, front centers of the rear doors were farther out than the rear centers of the front door both side, curvature was not the same, grill was crooked about 1/4" one side to other, hood low on one side, bed was wavy with a 6" indentation on the forward upper part (passenger side) of the bed and on drivers side also(not as bad as passenger side),just looked at another 2015 F150 FX4 same thing, nothing like buying a new high dollar vehicle with dents in it already. At about 450 miles transmission was not shifting right so I crawled under truck after letting the transmission warm up, loosened 19mm cap cover and found nothing on the dip stick not a drop, took to dealership and they filled it, so how long before transmission problems, anyway I have said enough just want you all to look the vehicle over good (a lot of people don't care about the fit and finish of a vehicle but some do). I traded the vehicle for a another brand and now very happy (lost money but worth it to me)!

Lots of leg and head room, drives great,
I do not have any
I am the owner of this F150, The color is Magma Red, not maroon . The color changes with the angle of light. I take the truck in every 3 months to get all the fluids checked, I pamper this truck. The tires are 305/55R20, had them put on 6 months ago...This truck is fabulous and I hate to part with it, but I'm needing something smaller. Thanks for reading. Rabecka
I took amaculate care of this truck but there are several problems. The transmission failed at 80k ford has multiple TSB# associated with this transmission but are not willing to admit that its bad enough to do a recall. I would never buy another Ford again here's why. The Manual and the dealer both recommend servicing the transmission at 150K but mine went out at 80K. they are saying that the truck should go at least that far with out service, but low and behold it is actually just a throw away model. spend 3600 to fix the transmission according to there TSB# only to find out there are multiple problems that could also fail in that same 10R80 transmission. Ford knows this is a bad transmission, admits that it should go 150K but still does nothing. literally paid 60k for a truck that has only gone 89K, they wants me to put 11k into it only to have issues with the turbos the eco boost or the replaced transmission again. Avoid
Plenty of room in cab
A little bit of a rough ride at times
Bought a 2018 F150 about 3 weeks ago, drove great on the way home unfortunately wound up having a humming noise wound up having bad wheel hub assemblies in the front luckily dealership fixed at no cost! Overall a great truck and love the room inside!
So far so good.... nice features, great mpg I hope it lasts like my 2001
Great price
Did not have the Max Trailer Package but wasn't a deal breaker
What a fantastic truck!!!! I am so very happy with my purchase. I wish I could afford 2 of them. The Kelly Blue Book was instrumental in my purchase due to the fact that they were able to show me the Tru Car Value to help me make a educated decision. I was able to secure a "Great Price" and I know that I paid the correct price for the truck.
Good handling and low fuel consumption for the size of the vehicle
Short bed, so may need a trailer or other equipment for longer loads
I bought this a couple weeks ago and it is living up to my expectations! Lots of room for kids and shopping.
What is the purpose of spending a lot of money on a vehicle and keeping it in excellent condition only to be insulted by your estimate? I mean new cars have literally doubled in price and then some. Why wouldn’t we be able to get more for our trade ins? This is why the economy is so out of wack. How are people supposed to pay these outrageous prices? I will let the dealership know I will not be purchasing a new vehicle, based on your ridiculous estimate. You obviously didn’t take into consideration my very low mileage on the vehicle and the fact that it is in excellent shape and running condition.
Visibility better than other trucks, 4WD, comfort, power

Bought a 2019 F150, after months of looking. We are so happy with it. It fits our family of 5 and a 100lbs dog comfortably. It’s a smooth ride, with nice features. No buyers remorse there.
